Intricate Spider Embroideries by Adam Prichett
Lake District, England based textile artist Adam Prichett is a young individual with a deep found passion for sewing.
Prichett’s portfolio revolves around the theme of nature, depicting idyllic landscapes, mini forests, scenic beauty of the mountains, lakes or even endearing creepy crawlies like spiders. He draws inspiration from Mother Nature that surrounds him, his minimalistic style, the result of perfect amalgamation of observation and imagination. In this ingenious series, he portrays elaborate embroidery of spiders and their webs, creating holes on the piece of cloth first and then stitching the complex yet beautiful structures of the web. This element creates an additional sense of drama and flair to his works of art. The self-taught artist has received BA (Hons) in Fine Arts from Coventry University in the year 2013, a self proclaimed book worm and murder mystery fan. Find his work in his Etsy shop.
