In the mundane world, it is very rare that someone will have the absolute answers (outside of proven science). If someone claims to have those answers, we are meant to question their knowledge and start looking into what they are talking about to form our own conclusions.

The same can be said for the metaphysical world. One person will believe one thing while another person believes the opposite. There are no two same paths unless there are two people walking the same path together. Others can help back up your claims by having dealt with the same things or they had similar experiences.

Like with most things in life, you cannot expect someone to just happily hand you whatever answer to any question you have. Magic and witchcraft do not work the way Hollywood makes it appear.

Go to the library (or an online Archive); take notes on what you read; try your hands at some of the teachings; observe the results; come to your conclusions. Most spellwork is just a form of the Scientific Method if you break it down to its most basic structure.
