TL;DR wanting to take place in rape play does not mean you want to be raped/rape someone

Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of controversy about Rape play vs rape and people who are into rape play being labeled as “disgusting.”

As someone that has been raped there is a massive difference and people who are into rape play shouldn’t be kink shamed for it, and it DOES NOT mean they actually want to be raped. Its just like gun play, knife play, asphyxiation and anyother kink that could be considered dangerous.

Just because I’m into those things doesn’t mean I want to be shot, stabbed or choked to death. Having a rape fantasy does not mean you wish to be raped. For me personally I could never take play with rape play simply because of how traumatic my experience was and he was finally just jail in April after this happening 7 years ago, one day i may talk about that, but today is not that day.
