made a little cactus girl to join the succulent collection. the spines are false lashes & a bit of a hassle to keep in order because they're so soft and bendy, but that might still be better than the doll actually stabbing me every time i pose her.

I've heard of taverns before, but my traveling companion never visits them - this was the closest I've come, a place serving custom burgers and "root" beer, a sweet drink that bore no resemblance to an actual tavern's goods. They wouldn't even take my order, on account of not being able to read my handwriting. Rude! The children at the table next to us ordered just fine! Perhaps this tavern is meant for them, then.

i've wanted to make a palm-sized little dragon for a while, and here she is. the wings were an experiment in using acrylic water effect gel to fill in the color areas because i am #1 hater of working with resin.

Japan is far more fast-paced than I'm used to, with many people and things to see everywhere I went. I barely had time for this photo in front of Kyoto's tower before hurrying to my next destination, but I still look as charming as ever!
