The cat stayed still, burning with frustration. “Very.” It was pretty uncomfortable to have her face on the floor like this, but Ater didn’t care. She shifted slightly as her sister started to play gently with her hair, calming down almost immediately. 

...Ah. She should have expected that question. Quietly averting her gaze from her sister, Arbus then closed her eyes and continued to stroke Ater's hair for a few more moments. It was when those moments passed that the ebony-haired girl decided to speak up.

"… Arbus?" She rolled away from her, hissing lowly. She was pissed at everything. 

"Ah.... Those pests? How frustrating it must be."

She's just going to ignore her sister's rather hostile actions right now, and get right to asking what was wrong with her.
