I would like a flag for hypersexuality symptoms, I did some research and talked to professionals, and I discovered that I don't have hypersexuality itself, just some of the symptoms, I wanted a hypersexuality symptoms flag It makes me uncomfortable to use the hypersexual flag because I don't have it, and it seems like I'm affirming that I do, and it seems disrespectful to those who do have it that I use that flag without even having it, and I don't know if other blogs could make this request for me

i think if you feel represented by the hypersexual flag i made, you can use it. i'm not the identity police and i'm not going to draw a line in the sand of who's "hypersexual enough" to use the flag.

"hypersexuality" as a disorder within the psychiatric structure has multiple names : hypersexuality, compulsive sexual disorder, csbd, or (by pop psychiatry) "sex addiction". there are also other disorders that may fall under "hypersexuality" semantically that i didn't list here. i don't intend to trivialize the experience of those with csbd and similar disorders.

However ! this flag was not intended to be exclusive to those with csbd only. by the definition above i'm not "hypersexual enough" to use the flag, and i made the damn thing /lh! it's the experience of hypersexuality - as a disorder on its own or as a symptom of another disorder. i wouldn't be able to list all the experiences it could cover lol.
