I think Kerry's problem is she thinks she's working at an actual hospital and everyone else is subconsciously aware they're in a medical drama so they're like "no Kerry we don't want to do paperwork that's not good TV we want to break the law instead" and Kerry's just standing there like "what the hell is wrong with you people??????" Chat: Luka speaking to John's belly in Croatian. John reads up on the benefits of a child growing up in a bilingual home plus a pup learning and knowing Luka's voice.

It starts off at John's insistence, Luka falling onto the couch or the bed, head leveled at the bump. Even after a long, tiring shift, John begs Luka to speak to the pup before he crashes.

Then, John doesn't have to push him to do it anymore and Luka naturally gravitates to the bump for conversation, sometimes playfully leaving John out of the conversation, even more with the language barrier. But it's all in good fun.

John is usually scratching Luka's head, joining in to learn Croatian, or when he's farther along, fast asleep propped on pillows.
