I think the rules of this game are that you're supposed to share the last six sentences you wrote on your current wip, but since I'm somebody who writes all my chapters in advance of publishing, I won't do that since it would give away major spoilers I'd prefer to keep to myself right now. Instead, I'll just share a snippet from the 2nd chapter.

For context, the fic is a The Manipulated/The K2 crossover wherein Taejung is rescued from an unjust prison sentence for a crime he did not commit in order to serve as the personal bodyguard to Ahn Yohan, the secret child of a wealthy CEO. It combines elements and characters from both shows and thus will be very different from my other Taejung/Yohan fic, The Albatross.

“Ohhh, I see,” Yohan drawled. His white teeth flashed behind a devious smile. “You’re like … an attack dog?” Every word that came out of the young master’s mouth was more degrading than the last, but Taejung reminded himself of the receding gates of Guan Prison. The Ahn estate was still the lesser of two evils.  “You could say that,” he allowed.  “But you heard what my mother said, right?”  Yohan took a dramatic step forward, wedging himself right between Taejung’s knees. Bracing his hands on the arms of the chair, he leaned down to bring his face level with Taejung’s. His breath smelled of fresh coffee, and his perfume was sweet and fruity. Taejung could finally make out the circumference where his pupils ended and his irises began, the two discs distinguished by only a few shades of black.  “If you fail to protect me, your life is in our hands. If you do anything to cause me harm or to let harm befall me, you might end up somewhere worse than Guan Prison.” 

This is way more than six sentences but I wanted to share whole gist of the scene. I have no idea when I will actually finish and publish this story (it's already 75k words and counting) but I'm looking forward to the day that I can share it with the world!
