@theflyfishingnation bending the mighty Boca Grande 💪💥 • We kept the 12-weight Epic glass rod rigged with a Saltwater 'Click & Pawl' reel ready at all times. This piece of kit turned into an interesting side mission, especially after the rod had proven and claimed its spot in the rod rack. Keep your eyes peeled for Stephan's dredging chapter with this setup - fun to watch, especially when he gets his ass handed back to him.⁣ ⁣ The mouth of the Astove lagoon was teeming with sharks at times. Our target fish, GT, and co. were plentiful, but the sheer number of large lemonsharks made it almost impossible to land them. We succeded the first time, but as soon as the sharks clocked onto our mission, there was no way of landing one of their prey species in their backyard. The sharks were so riled up, that they ferociously charged our GT brushies and poppers. Here, Paulo's turn with the Glass/ Click & Pawl Combo - a proper lemon shark that went straight for one of our hooked Milkfish.
