what the fuck is a “plumcot”. the box says “it’s a mixture between plum and apricot,” but if so, how much is plum and how much is apricot? well, you can see in the name. it has the 100% of plum in the name and 43% of the apricot. but if this is true, then a plumcot is 143% fruit, which is not possible because it’s only one fruit. which brings us to the fact the whole plum is in the plumcot and only part of the apricot. which also means that since there is a whole plum in the plumcot there is no fruit left for the “cot”. this leads us to the discovery that an apricot is actually redundant and should be called “apri”. and plumcots are just plums. and since plum juice is the same as prune juice and plumcots are plums, then plumcot is an acceptable term for prune.
