I will become everything I said I would be.
Lately, I’ve been feeling anxious maybe because I’m scared of losing my job or being let go anytime. But then I realized… why worry about something that hasn’t even happened yet? I know I’m doing my best, even if it’s not perfect.
While looking out the window, I was reminded that God is greater than all my fears.
It’s crazy how far I’ve come from earning ₱12k to ₱20k a month back then, before I took the risk to change my career. If I had stayed, I’d probably be earning ₱22k now… but I chose growth emotionally, professionally, and financially. Because I realized that ₱20k isn’t enough for someone like me who wants to treat and give back to my parents.
I still have debts, but I’m grateful I made it through every season. Now I’m praying for stability in my freelancing job to grow, be trusted, and one day manage my own team and business.
Big sigh… but also, big faith. 💭✨
Nakaka-stress talaga yung feeling na ikaw ang “supplier” ng damit sa bahay.
Hindi madamot ang tawag doon, D. Self-respect at boundaries yun. Normal lang na gusto mong masulit yung binili mo para sayo, lalo na kung pinag-effortan at pinili mo. Gusto mo lang din na yung ate mo mag-invest sa sarili niyang damit, kasi kaya naman niya.
Kung iniisip mo na baka madamot ka, isipin mo rin ito:
Sharing is good, pero hindi dapat laging at your expense.
Kung laging sayo kumukuha, nawawala yung balance.
Boundaries ≠ pagiging selfish.
Parang sa love din, diba? Hindi selfish kung may standards at boundaries ka. Ganun din sa family and material things.
Sometimes I feel like I don’t even want to buy clothes anymore, because it feels like I’m just buying them for someone else to borrow. I know it’s normal for siblings to share, but it makes me feel like the clothes aren’t really mine like I only bought them because they knew they could borrow.
What stresses me out even more is my sister being so frugal. She even said earlier that she has more money because she doesn’t spend on clothes, unlike me who keeps buying. But honestly, shouldn’t that mean she can afford to buy her own instead of borrowing mine?
Now I’m stuck asking myself am I the bad guy? She calls me selfish because I don’t like lending my clothes, but deep down, I just want her to have her own.

I already have someone beside me now, and I can choose to nurture the love we share. I can also gently express the things that make me feel cared for, so he knows how to love me better. I trust that the right kind of love will grow where I choose to water it.
Yung longing minsan hindi talaga para sa person kundi sa feeling na binigay nila yung sense of being wanted, heard, and prioritized. Ang tricky lang kasi our mind attaches it to the person, kahit ang totoo, it’s the experience we miss.
