Minds Immeasurably Superior to Ours

I mean, i know the martians are described to feed using injections but i do think they are capable of eating things in a traditional way, having mouths.

i think, however, its a social thing. martian militaries focus on being hyper utilitarian, so perhaps injections and being fed supplement through drip feed as you work is maybe seen as more effective than classical eating methods.

i mean, the narrator says they are sleepless creatures, but who knows, maybe they pump themselves with caffeine or adrenaline equivalents to simply Not Be Tired

honestly, what you see is what you get with them! these martian redesigns are more pertaining to the book versions with obvious alterations. on earth, they appear mostly blobby because of how much greater earth’s gravity is in comparison to mars.

they traverse on all fours mainly, while sometimes rearing up on their hind-legs much like a bear would. They can walk around on two legs but it can be uncomfortable if done for too long and isn’t very functional. Their tentacles do most of the work with grabbing, tasting, touching and sometimes with communication. the eyes have a built in dust shield, so they rarely need to blink or close their eyes.

Martians also do wear clothes, though they’re only either in the form of armour or protective shawls to cover themselves while traversing the harsh surface of mars. these shawls wrap around their tentacles too to prevent irritation.

maybe! I do have old attachments to lil wotw martians i made. kraig was initially a joke character i made but tbh i got attached to them. might redraw them someday, i like em too
