Steven Universe Theory Time
And we’ve seen Blue Diamond:

But things start to get interesting when we see symbols representing the diamonds, namely those at the moon base:
There is a recurring four diamond motif that heavily hints at the fourth Pink Diamond. Theories abound as to the nature of Pink Diamond, her identity and so forth. A common theory is that Rose Quartz is actually Pink Diamond, but there are discrepancies, such as her height, the shape of her gem, her origins as a homeworld soldier and Bismuth calling her “another Quartz soldier that came out of the ground”.
But Pink Diamond still needs to be talked about.
In the episode where Steven learns the nature of gem corruption from The Centipeetle Captain, she gives him many drawings, but the episode lingers on one that she gave him when he asks “Who did it?”
Obviously this is a symbol of the diamonds, but someone is missing. What happened to Pink Diamond. This actually is compounded all the way back in Season 1, when Garnet fights Jasper on board the contemporary Homeworld Ship.
The symbol on the floor has the same colour scheme as pre-rebellion structures, but it looks like Pink Diamond’s presence has been expunged completely. At some point during the rebellion, Pink Diamond was removed from the Diamond Authority, and did not play a role in the final strike on Earth that corrupted all of the gems save Rose and her close friends.
Rose may have at one point been Pink Diamond.
Pink Diamond was cut, like any stone can be, and what remained became Rose Quartz. Maybe the other Diamonds did it to her, maybe she did it of her own volition. Maybe she remembers, maybe she does not. But as a result, Pink Diamond has been wiped from Homeworld culture and Rose’s son now carries an even heavier legacy and burden than he ever imagined.
Being cut reduced her power, changed her shape and made her less imposing, but Rose was still a fantastically powerful gem, if Steven’s still burgeoning abilities are any indication.
Rose kept a lot of secrets. Some, like Bismuth, she didn’t even tell the other Crystal Gems. Maybe her biggest secret, one that the show runners have been building up to since the very beginning, is yet to be revealed.
