Currently Reading: Just … Book of Nile fanfiction. Obsessively. But I’ve been meaning to read Axiom’s End by Lindsay Ellis - AND!! I picked up a book of conference papers from 1993 about Federalism in Canada and I’m really excited to read that (not because it’ll be super helpful from a political science viewpoint now but it’ll tickle my history brain considering it happened a little over a decade - a presumably the conference happened on the decade mark - after finally got our Constitution and I’m rambling but oooooooh buddy am I excited)

Currently Watching: Nothing really? I’ve been watching cheesy end scenes to romcoms from like 10-15yrs ago, a lot of SortedFood, and a lot of ToddinTheShadows videos I guess?

Last Film: i’m not really one for watching movies alone, but yesterday i watched a documentary on history of medicine, so i guess it counts too?

Currently Reading: Pandemic: Tracking Contagions, from Cholera to Ebola and Beyond by Sonia Shah, very intriguing book that tracks the beginnings of most devastating infectious diseases, and i’m also reading Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo and I’m liking it plenty!!!

Currently Watching: ehhh, right now i don’t watch anything, but recently i finished shadow and bones, and i liked it a lot!!

Currently Craving: i’ve been craving cinnamon rolls for days now but i’m too lazy to go to the store and buy them :/

Last Film: Raw (2016). All I can say is that it is one HELL of a coming of age movie.

Currently Reading: The Wind Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. I love his work. His stories feel like some kind of surrealist fever dream. The way he sets up the scene makes you feel like you’re in a liminal space. Ugh love. (Also dream sex)

Currently Watching: Fullmetal Alchemist (2003). I don’t understand why people are giving FMA03 shit? It’s so good. But then again, I’m the type that doesn’t really care if the story is super loyal to the manga or not lmao. A good story is a good story 🤷

Currently Reading: Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray. I love her work so much, the way she writes her stories makes me feel like I’m the one who’s traveling in different dimensions lmao plus its sci-fi and slightly angsty so I love it

Currently Watching: I’m currently not watching anything right now since I’m still busy with acads but I’m planning on watching jjk and fruba when this school year finally end.

Currently Craving: Creamy shrimp pasta but I still have to wait for my brother’s birthday to satisfy my cravings😃

Last Film: Ready or Not. It's supposed to be a horror but honestly I think I just focused on the ships bghfog. It's kinda gory though especially at some scenes I needed to close my eyes.

Currently Reading: Uhhhh manga counts right? In that case, Sugar Sugar Rune and I'm still 2 chapters in since I get distracted a lottttttt but the premise seems interesting (plus there's romance so)

What I remember more was when I received my first comment. I don’t really know how to describe how happy it made me, and maybe it’s a little silly just how overjoyed I was. That one comment put a smile on my face and encouraged me to keep writing despite how difficult it could be. 

I guess what I’m trying to say is that showing support to authors can really go a long way. Whether it’s a long, detailed comment about the chapter, a short one saying that you enjoyed it, or even just leaving kudos because you really don’t know what to say, it helps. It keeps writers encouraged and the community thriving. 

So if there is a fanfiction you enjoy or an author you love, I hope you take the time to show them support, because it really does mean a lot.
