Using a Gif and hashtag (nothing else), describe your thanksgiving break.

Was there ever a movie/album/book/tv show that you wanted to love, but ended up hating? If you were given the power to go back in time and change it to make it better, what would you change about it?

When I was little I used to hate the movie, Gettysburg, because it was long and it was nothing but a bunch of old white guys fighting in uniforms.  Now that I’m older, I love it because it depicts a moment of American history with such emotion and humanity.  Also, Jeff Daniels and Martin Sheen’s facial hair was pretty epic.

What are some of the documentaries you guys are thinking about analyzing?  What are they about? What do you find so interesting about them?

Name a movie, TV show, or album you hate.  Explain Why using memes, gifs, and text.

What is a song or music video that inspires you?  Why? Use hashtags, memes, gifs, or just plain old words to explain why.  I chose Kesha’s “Bastards” because it reminds me of how strong I had to be in high school and even college and grad school when naysayers tried to bring me down or “steal my crown”.

Comp Prompt #2: Using either memes, photos, gifs, videos, or even a song, tell us about something that you witnessed, experienced, or remember.  You must use hashtags (ex. #truestory) to give us context regarding the story (i.e. background information).  The only text you should be typing is in your hashtags. So I presented this picture for my AP Language visual rhetoric project, and got to educate everyone in my class on how women (in general and in America) are oppressed☺️
