I'm doing a challenge, where I have to tackle each expansion's engineering in order! I have several rules for myself, which I will post down below. I wanted to share this because I wanted to share another silly way to play WoW and I really don't have an active guild to share this with.
So if anyone wants to try it with me, here are the goals and rules:
The goal is to get engineering to max in every expansion on one character and get most, if not all the recipes that I can.
Classic, BC, and Wrath, level 30
Cataclysm + Pandaria, level 35
Warlords of Draenor, level 40
Battle for Azeroth, level 50
A recipe that has an absurdly low drop-rate
Mounts and pets have to be obtained through engineering
Hunters can ONLY use mechanical pets
If not Goblin or Gnome, can buy the Mecha-bond Imprint Matrix pre-challenge
No using dungeon finder/raid finder
Because engineering is expensive and so is transmog, 1k gold is allowed from main account.
This isn't meant to be a soul crushing challenge. Just one to make unlocking engineering more fun. It's loosely based off of Lord Knabble's "Zone Locked" challenge but with a little less restrictions to adapt to this idea and keep my sanity.
