I have an genuine question: why is there so little black representation in the resident evil games franchise? there is many blondies, there's an asian character who makes a comeback once in a while, a few background non-playable characters of color in the early games appearing for a moment or two... but what about a black protagonist or important antagonist, not an extra or background character? they need to change things a little because it's getting boring the amount of blondies and white haired characters being protagonists or antagonists, while the people of color exist just to be background noise or make a single apparition in the story. and that's my opinion. it's always the same formula. make something meaningful. not even zeno being a clone of an old villain is, like, a good comeback. it makes sense, it's part of the universe, but it's not new. the character is, in my opinion, dull. and, honestly, very disappointing as a villain. rest in shut the fuck up. and all just to end up saying that I wish to see new stories in the series, less copy and paste in the sense of reusing models or features from old characters or having them make a comeback for profit and because you can't stand having new characters be the focus alone. do something new, that appeals to all public and speaks with them from beyond the same story of a white character being stuck in a mansion with big, monstruous villains, and meeting comic relief antagonists, and, just like in the marvel universe, having the main characters joking about something meaningless while they're in danger just to have a gotcha moment or show quirkness when, clearly, this isn't the moment. i know everyone reacts in their own way while facing danger, but making jokes in moments of danger while they're in clear disadvantage, and will most certainly die, is just a no. doesn't make sense, unless they found peace in themselves and accepted their end, or if they know they're going to make it because they have everything set up. i hope i've succeded in making a point, in that sense that i managed to make little to no ortographic serious mistakes. english is not my first language, but most people speak english, so...
