SIXXER   CROAKS   FORTH   IN   A   ROBOTIC   TONE,   littered   with   a   more   apparent   static   than   usual.   With   an   older   model   like   him   he’s   missing   quite   a   bit   of   newer   tech.   The   appeasing   carefully   chosen   voices   of   newer   androids   being   of   course   one   of   those   things.   But   it   wasn’t   too   much   of   a   problem,   however,   the   current   state   of   his   parts   were   suboptimal   at   best.   Repairs   would   be   necessary.   The   only   problem   with   that   is   that   said   parts   had   gone   out   of   circulation   at   least   a   decade   ago.   Luckily,   his   line   was   meant   to   take   quite   a   bit   of   damage,   even   so   after   so   long   spent   taking   that   abuse   and   time   again   spent   offline   it   was   surprising   he   lasted   as   long   as   he   did   without   repairs.

OLD   MODEL   AWAKENS,   like   some   forgotten   creature   left   by   time.   joints   and   wires   clicking   and   locking   up,   fingers   outstretched   in   confusion   as   if   grasping   for   something   he   couldn’t   quite   understand.   no   interfacing   feature   or   capability,   and   yet   there’s   still   some   flicker   of   humanity   in   the   way   antennae   twitch   and   rise.   neon   blue   lurches   through   components,   a   light   sputtering   as   it   struggles   to   manage   the   liquid.   A   whirring   hum,   old   chassis   all   coated   in   a   thick   layer   of   dust   and   the   sizeable   battery   in   the   center   of   his   abdomen   would   soon   warm   the   once   frigid   body   of   the   creature.

CROAKS   THE   OLD   MODEL,   with   a   voice   far   more   robotic,   low   and   guttural,   lacking   in   the   more   recent   technology   of   engineering   something   far   more   appealing   and   familiar   to   the   human   public.   The   numbers   and   barcodes   along   the   arms   and   chassis   of   the   old   thing   are   worn   and   scratched,   dings   and   injuries   here   and   there   but   they   were   built   rather   sturdy   back   then.   Wiring   and   mechanical   parts   in   his   exposed   neck   cavity,   an   antiquated   design,   move   and   hiss   as   head   rises.   The   facial   display   seems   to   register   Markus,   finally,   a   scan   initiated   as   three   dots   run   along   with   his   screen.   Then   a   low   buzzer   sounds   as   if   the   scan   had   failed.
