So I’m at the gym.

I’ve been recently powerlifting and I got to a point where I’m relatively “strong” for someone my “size.” Basically my workouts consist of about roughly 18 sets of compound movements ex: 9 sets of squats and 9 sets of deadlifts on tuesdays and 9 sets of bench and 9 sets of overhead press on Friday’s. With that being said, my sister and I literally “hog” the area we are working out in. We’re aware of this so whenever someone asks how many sets we have left, we offer them to work in with us. 9 times out of 10 the person says no. And usually that person is male. And this is why I’m ranting lol. They think that because they “lift heavier” than we do that we can’t spot them, don’t wanna switch the plates or they just can’t be I guess, seen with us.

Idk it just irks me because I know when I *finally* start t and start to look more masc I know for a fact this will change. They definitely say yes to other dudes and then they bro it out. It almost feels like as if they feel if our workout is invalid compared to theirs. When I’m reality I’m dead ass working harder than they are lol
