Welcome to the Sloane Washington Appreciation Blog!! Perfect Match's very own Science Queen (as our Nadia would put it) and one of the cutest, most adorable LIs to exist!
February 11th is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and what better way to celebrate that than to remember Sloane's journey, her emulating Amelia Earheart and Blaire Hall as a child, her love for outer space, penguins, DC Smoke BBQ and coding, her devotion to her loved ones, her awesome relationship with her mother, her awkwardness and sincerity!
This event will be held from 10th February to 15th February, 2022. Any kind of positive content is welcome: fanfics, edits, fanart, essays, meta, moodboards - even simple appreciation text posts just highlighting your favourite scenes! We will get a list of co-hosts soon, but for now, do tag or DM @sloanewashingtonappreciationweek or @lizzybeth1986 for any questions or doubts, as well as tag on content when the week starts!
We'll be using these prompts for the days:
10th Feb - Character Appreciation (fave scenes, character traits)
11th Feb - "Science Queen" (Women in STEM)
12th Feb - Friendships
13th Feb - Family (Kim, Sloane's childhood, having a family)
14th Feb - Romance (😃)
15th Feb - Eros/Sloane's Journey.
The themes aren't restricted to these particular days only, but tagging them for whichever day will help us in keeping track and compiling! You can still do content for the theme on a later day, and tag it for the day listed.
We'll be putting up a few icons for Sloane fans to use, and you can use them anytime!
