Books by Year Polls
I queued 21 polls for favorite book by year. I used the wiki to get the books by year. I added the book to the year its first chapter was released, even if only for VIP. For some years, I had to break the poll up into 3 parts to get all the books in. I focused on full books and did not necessarily include mini books. In some years I did, but it wasn't a priority. My general rule was that if I knew it was a side book, like all the Freshman LI books, I didn't include it, but with a lot of the new books I have NO idea what they are so I tried to include them just in case.

Every form of creative work can be submitted: fanfiction, drabbles, moodboards, edits, drawings, poems, songs, sketches, and more—all are welcomed.
Work from any book and story from the Choices (and Pixelberry) universe are welcome (new and old alike)!
You can participate as many times as you want during the event
Clearly list the prompt you used
You can combine submissions for this event with others
Please add a cut to avoid long posts and exposing other fans to triggering/disturbing content.
If your work is NS*W please label it as such and use appropriate warnings. Adult content should be hidden under the page break.
You can get creative with the prompts. It can be a variation of the word and/or concept. It doesn’t have to be exact or literal. If the word inspires a train of thought that led you to something different, put that in the notes and send it in! Have fun with it! Make them work for you! The ultimate goal is just to find joy in creating!

I love the idea of things being a mess for MC's wedding and the party making sure they have no idea. MC deserves to have a day where they don't have to deal with any problems!

Riverbend's bakery was thrilled to learn the Hero of Riverbend wanted to get ready for her wedding on their second floor. The room with creaky floors was decorated in the best furniture and flowers in town, nicer than ever since visitors became a regular occurrence. The space feels smaller, humbler than it used to, but still like home.
The day has been full already, the whole family bouncing between Breila, Mal, and making sure things are ready. About an hour before the ceremony, she finally gets some time alone with her favorite brother.
Who drives into what seems to be his favorite topic. Well, everyone's lately. "How are you?"
She smiles with a nod. "Excited."
"Good. Nervous at all? Worried about anything?" Kade knows she still only volunteers that information maybe 10% of the time. And he's pretty confident there's something that will cloud her mind all day if she doesn't get it out.
"Why would I be?"
Kade just stares at her for a moment, seeing if she'll continue on her own.
She doesn't. Even if they're not related by blood, both inherited a certain stubbornness.
"You know, I was nervous before my wedding. Excited, obviously. But Cherta had kind of a hard time knowing her grandmother wouldn't be there. Not in a way she could see, anyway."
Breila sighs. So he did nail it. "Fine. I'm worried about Mal. I don't have parents here either, but I know he's thinking about his mom. That she's still at the river, losing her memories."
"He probably is."
She shots her brother a flat, critical look in response. "Thanks."
A familiar hand pops up, asking her to stop. "But, I know Mal can multitask. He can be worried about his mom and glad she's watching. Just like you can be excited to marry him and worried about him."
Breila nods slowly, a sparkle back in her eye. "You're very wise, every once in a while."
Kade laughs. "I'll take that as a compliment. Have you-"
After a quick knock, Cherta pokes her head in the door. "Breila, you look amazing! Can I steal Kade for a minute?" Her eyes won't quite settle on either of them.
Breila picks up in it too. "Is everything okay?"
Cherta smiles wider than she ever has before. "Completely, everything's fine!" She's obviously lying.
Breila sighs, moving to stand, to save the day again- but Kade stops her. "Whatever it is, we can handle it."
After a deep breath, Cherta is ready to reassure. "It's really not a big deal. Ten minute fix, tops. And I promise, all you have to worry about or decide today is marrying Mal. We'll handle everything else."
Breila smiles like she's trying not to cry. "Thank you, Cherta."
"Of course. We'll give you some time to yourself before the big reveal."
Kade and Cherta casually walk out the building and around the side of the mason's workshop before turning to each other urgently. "Viola is being a bitch and won't let Aerin have one of the herbs he needs to make she Jeanie doesn't throw up again. He insisted that stealing be Plan C. So you're Plan B."
"Yeah, she took Baldur's death weirdly personally. I'll see what I can do. Is Nia back yet?"
"No, still on her way from dealing with the barrel incident."
"Can we send Tyril over to distract Breila or Mal? They might get antsy and decide to explore."
"No, he's still coordinate the flower arch collapse and seating issue with Willow. Is Threep too bad of a liar to send?"
"Not if Loola goes with him. Where are we with the alcohol?"
"Imtura's getting a couple bottles of really nice stuff for Breila and Mal, the rest is getting carried over from Ironbreach. Valax is managing that."
"I'll talk to Viola. See you in a bit?"
"Yep. I'll grab the nespers." A quick kiss and they're off to make sure the happy couple never knows anything went wrong.
