tw small trauma dump—i've had a genuine stalker before and it was terrible lmao. it's like these writers don't see stalking as something traumatizing/life changing 😭😭😭 but it's okay to write because it's not as bad as incest! like baby whatttttt stalking can lead to so many bad things happening it's not sexy or cute

i think most of these writers only write abt these topics as glorification or something cause it gets notes while completely disregarding how horrible such things are in real life

ive seen rape/incest/stalking fics simply end in ppl falling in love, getting together or just cuddling basically ending on a good note like what 😭

we both know that's not normal and even if its fiction it is not right to give even a minor impression that these literal crimes can lead to something sweet and romantic

thousands of actually romantic genres to write abt but they wanna go romanticize crimes 😭

I understand coping with fics like those but continuously asking for more is a bit sus to me, I’d never EVER leave a comment asking for more noncon content. People are being desensitized to what noncon/sa truly is and it’s being romanticized. Even in the way it’s written, they make the act sound romantic instead of what it truly is.

I understand if writers or readers are using those themes to cope, however I truly wish that people would wake up and realize that reading or writing fics with themes like that for fun is unhinged. It’s not normal and yall need to get help.

And to the others like me that use themes like that to cope, I understand you and I’m in the same position and I hope we all heal to the point we won’t have to turn to those themes ever again.

i know people cope differently and you have all the right to consume such content but as i said earlier writing these topics really puts it at the risk of being romanticized

half if the ppl are like "dont like it dont read it" you are portraying something horrible in a completely normal light and expect people to not call that shit out?

like there is a very blurred line between reading these fics as a coping mechanism and reading them simply cause theyre fun nd have good sex

the entire presentation of SA in ffs is so odd cause why are we acting like noncon is something romantic when it isnt

i swear ive seen many of such ffs where in the end the characters say ily and lay together like no that isnt right or normal

i think a more appropriate use of these topics in fics would be a scenario where the character heals and grows (which gives the readers time to process things without desensitizing the topic) instead of writing it as something that immediately creates a demand for more in a "wow this is so amazing" way
