You were a sinner staying at the hazbin hotel, so far getting along with all of the guests but having some issues with Angel Dust's constant flirting with you. The other day Charlie announced that her dad, Lucifer would be coming over and the hotel needed to be prepared and looking its best for his visit. 

    Charlie: Hey, hey!!! y/n can you help me put these banners up? 

    She asked enthusiastically as she held up a long strand of tiny rainbow banners

    You nod and help et put the banners up over the hotels stairs, 

   “Does this look good Charlie?” you ask as you walk over towards her 

    Charlie: Yes!! Thank you thank you!! If you're willing to maybe- help nifty with the desserts, I'm a bit concerned about what she's cooking up in there. 

    “I don't mind helping, wouldn't want to poison the king of hell” you chuckle and joke

     You go into the kitchen where nifty is mixing up some weird concoction of cookie dough and what looked like a few roaches. It was concerning and offputting, but that was just nifty so you didn't think too hard about it and grabbed you own batch of cookie dough and started putting the ingredients in, occasionally looking over at what nifty was doing- there were definitely a few roaches in there. “Heya- nifty what ya makin there?” 

    Nifty: Roach cookies

    She said deviously, with that glint in her eye she gets when she's being insane again

    You put the cookies in the oven and let them set for a bit and walk into the main lobby looking to see if anyone else needed help. Angel Dust was talking with Husk, obviously harassing him again, Alastor was looking at the decorations judgingly, most of them were just sitting around waiting for him to arrive. You were getting a bit nervous to meet him, he was the king of hell after all, most sinners would be nervous to meet him. 

    You go to pull the cookies out of the oven and also catch a glimpse of the abomination nifty made, oh gods above those look like- something thats for sure. You hear the knock at the door and Charlie panics checking that everything is ready before getting the door 

    Charlie: Heyyy dadd

    Lucifer: CHARLIEEEE!! 

   He gives her a big hug before looking around taking in his surroundings

   Lucifer: “wooww this place sure looks uh-” he looked over at nifty offering him the roach cookies and looked away

   Lucifer: “uh huh- yeah- uh huh- Its got alot of character!- OH WHAT in the unholy hell is that” he says as he gestured over to the area that was just renovated due to people continuously bursting in that wall

   Alastor: just some of the renovations we had done adds a bit of color don't you think

   Alastor and Lucifer go through some kind of passive aggressive conversation that you didnt really catch because you zoned out. He comes over to you after Charlie introduces him to everyone. 

   Lucifer: Y/n right? An interesting bunch of sinners here right?

   “Oh um yeah, i guess, they seem pretty normal to me”

    Lucifer chuckles awkwardly, seemingly trying to make conversation, but not really succeeding due to being socially awkward. You offer him the cookies you made. “Choclate chip, Charlie told me they're your favorite” Lucifer's eyes light up and he takes a cookie and takes a bite

Lucifer: Mmm! These are really good did you make these yourself” 

  “Yeah I did! Im glad you like them”

   Alastor and Charlie drag him away to do the tour of the building and he waves and says “Ill talk to you later”

   You got a notification later that night from a new instagram account following you, it looked like Lucifers account and he had sent you a text "didn't get a chance to get your number sorry if this is creepy lol”

You chuckle to yourself and text him back and enjoy conversation with him for a bit before calling it a night. 

You didn't really think much of his small interactions with you but they got more frequent and his visits to the hotel increased after the extermination especially since he had his own room to stay in now, he came up to you in the kitchen one day while you were helping with the cooking while charlie was busy.

   Lucifer: heyyyy- how are ya? 

   He asks awkwardly

   You look up at him “I'm pretty good, you hungry?”

   “I could eat, what are ya makin?” 

   “Just some Spaghetti” 

   “Yeah ill take some”

   You get a few plates and make yourself and lucifer a plate of spaghetti sitting down at the table to eat with him, “So what kind of things are you into?” you ask him 

   Lucifer: "I dabble in rubber duck making, I occasionally read yk just the normal things a person does” he answers awkwardly 

 You giggle at his awkward response “Thats awesome Lucifer, you'll have to show me your ducks sometime”

He lights up when you ask him to show you his ducks, “well i was hoping to move some of my stuff into my room upstairs i could use a bit of help and then i can show you my collection” 

“Is this just a clever way of you trying to get me to help you move your heavy boxes?” you retort jokingly

“Ehhh maybeee-” he chuckles “i didnt know who to ask and you seem strong”

“Why thank you for your confidence in my box lifting abilities” you snip back

“So thats a yes?” he asks hopefully
