I’ve decided to try drawing in a different artstyle, also, I have a new Original Character who exists in her own universe! Her name is Bronwyn, she’s 21, and only 3’7”.
She look like just an elf, but is actually an elf/human homunculus hybrid. In her world, the world’s governments are using homunculi to try and solve their countries’ birthrate, workforce and aging population crises. The ethics of how homunculi are treated are highly questionable. Bronwyn was created in a lab by the government (via donated DNA), and was raised in a homunculi group home specifically designed to raise homunculi to be scientists.
Although people in universe are in denial about how they are treated, homunculi are essentially an indentured servant class. They are wards of the state with few legal rights and freedoms until they have worked in their government assigned profession for a select number of years.
Bronwyn’s biological father realized that homunculi weren’t actually treated fairly. So early in her life, Bronwyn was kidnapped from her group home by her biological father, Ellis. Ellis took her into a secluded cabin in the woods, where he raised her as a child, and taught her sorcery.
Bronwyn was living peacefully with her father, until one day she came home from an walk in the woods, and discovered that her father was missing.
Realizing that he was probably taken by the government for his crimes, she decided to go looking for him.
Bronwyn has a bubbly, and naive personality. She also has an insatiable appetite for knowledge about magic and alchemy, sometimes even to the point of amorality., She looks young, but homunculi don’t age like humans. They are born into the world as miniature adults, and cannot become elderly. They grow a little taller as the years go by, but that’s it.
