The few long fics I've been reading are good, but every few paragraphs I'd get a sense of 'why are we upside down now' or 'what happened to that thing we just had' bc, the writing jumps from the present to the past with no indication and sometimes back to back, or the author mentions something that like never happened or says something was lost even though, it's in the character hand / the character literally knows where it is, we had a whole chapter about it.

This has been happening more and more, and is it cause of claude or ai or something????

(I understand forgetting something, I forget stuff all the time, but it really does feel jumbled up and doesn't feel like mistakes like I'm used to in long fics - its always the small details that make me question if its ai, yk?)
