a lonely, yet cheerful young woman whose suicide attempt following yet another breakup was thwarted by the love devil. there was an offer and a deal made between the two, transforming the once despondent lucy into an incredibly powerful hybrid.

reckless, thrill-seeking, impulsive … lucy is easily bored and feels a great deal of dissatisfaction with her life as it is, so she’s quick to jump at any opportunity to risk her own safety in the hope that the thrill of it will make her feel more “whole.” she’s something of an adrenaline junkie and will feel depressed and listless if she goes too long without doing something dangerous. of course, this often means dragging other people into her messes, which she rarely seems to feel remorseful about. she’s a bit selfish in this way.

friendly, kind, easygoing … even if she’s a pessimist, you wouldn’t be able to tell just from looking at her. lucy maintains a very cheerful, approachable disposition and is easy to befriend. she tries to make sure everyone feels included and is quick to comfort and uplift her peers when she thinks they need it. she’s a good friend— reliable, funny and caring. it’s difficult to rile her up and she’ll usually just laugh off most slights made against her, never taking anything too seriously. she’s kind of a big sister type. however, if you’re perceptive, you might notice that this seems somewhat insincere … more like lucy is imitating what she thinks a kind person is like, rather than being inherently kind herself.

competitive, envious, bitter … having known her whole life that her birth was nothing but a mistake has left lucy constantly feeling like she has something to prove to the world. she has an enormous inferiority complex that has taken up much of her personality, so she likes to compete and show off— but only if she does well. if she performs poorly— or worse, gets outperformed— you’ll find that she’s not a great sport, though she tries to hide it. one of the easiest ways to get her to harbor a jealous grudge towards you is to show her up. it’s all made her quite resentful of the world as a whole, and there is a deep emptiness within her.

lucy comes into the world unwanted— she’s the child born from an affair between a high-ranking public official, coming from an esteem family, and his housekeeper. anyone else coming to know of her lineage would be devastating for her father’s reputation, so it’s a secret kept under lock and key. her mother is humiliated by having a child born out of wedlock, so she spends much of her childhood ignored and acutely aware of the fact that her existence was a mistake. her mother still holds onto her affections for the politician and prioritizes working for him above all else, which includes looking after arthur, who is lucy’s half-brother through their father. arthur is treated more like her child by lucy’s mother than lucy herself. although she’s forbidden from ever meeting arthur, lucy grows up jealous and resentful of her for having everything that she doesn’t.

i. i will not be interested in writing with you if your blog features muses from certain fandoms such as harry potter, attack on titan, stranger things and so forth. i also ask that anyone who writes or romanticizes pedophilia, incest, rape/dubcon and so forth not to follow me. the same sentiment applies to zionists and any other form of bigot. in general, if i don’t vibe with you, i will block to curate my dash, but it’s rarely ever personal.

ii. i use the beta editor exclusively and cut posts. note that my formatting is very simple and i may not always use icons. please don’t use lightly colored text, more than two or three spaces between words or put fancy fonts in your replies to me. i will gently remind you about this once or twice, but if you continue to ignore me, i will softblock. i’m not a high maintenance writing partner, but please reblog ask prompts from the source, cut thread replies if possible and try to ask for my permission before metagaming, even if it’s a small thing. thank you for understanding!

iii. ㅤi am multiship, but practice ship exclusivity. this means that i will only ship with one portrayal of a character at a time. you do not have to be ship exclusive with me, though! it’s just a personal preference. any romance will require extensive plotting and good chemistry both ic and ooc!

iv. ㅤi do not follow for follow. if i’m following you, that means i’m genuinely interested in both you and the character(s) you write. even if it seems like our source materials may not mesh well, i am always happy to give it a try and i hope that you’ll do the same. that being said, if you don’t think it’ll work out, that’s totally fine! please just softblock me. i intend to extend the same courtesy, of course.

v. the best way to interact with me is either by plotting with me on discord or sending in an ic ask and continuing it after i answer. i make starter calls every now and then, but these are the most reliable ways of writing with me. if you ever want to discuss a potential dynamic between one of my characters and your muse, never hesitate to im me so we can exchange discords or otherwise!

vi. i do not condone pointless drama, but i do not write callouts off completely. if i have read a callout in full and believe the individual being named is truly dangerous, i may spread it under callout tw /. for me, this is non-negotiable and i will not entertain discourse about it.
