Alex x Fem reader, teasing, slight suggestiveness, reader is not described <3
As the newly spring-time breeze weaved through the winding paths of the coastal place known as Pelican Town spurring nature back to life after the snow had once laced the grass in itâs bitter cold veil, greeting the new season you had started your day tending to your farm; feeding the animals, planting your spare crops tidying up your farm to look back in shape. After you have finished these chores, you began your somewhat far walk to the town to sell your stock of products you had just obtained whilst making your way to Peirre's you waved to your fellow friendâs as they passed by you going on with their day, embracing the new spring season.
One of them though you never needed to seek out them to greet them as somehow, he would always know where you were and when questioned his response is a simple shrug with a proud stance as he would say something like it was âJust a hunch.â Bullshit was what it was. And the one saying all this? Alex Mullner. The town's proudest jock of a man who had been staying with his grandparents for a while before you had come to the farm, and the same guy who has been making it his mission to tease and annoy you until you finally popped at him for it; He took such pride seeing you all riled up cause of him and his words alone. Heâs made sure fit it into his schedule every day, and this spring wouldnât be any different as you hear those damned heavy steps close in behind you whilst youâre reading someone's request up on the bulletin board you exhale in an attempt to dissolve the already churning feeling of annoyance rising slowly as you continue to decide with yourself whether to do this request or not trying to ignore the looming presence of Alex as his steady breathes ghosted over your hair making your skin form goosebumps but you paid no mind to his efforts as you managed to get away from him- though not so far before he grabbed your sleeve to keep you there
âyou in that much fâ a rush to get rid of me eh?â his velvet laced voice snarked out with that prideful smirk of his, that stupid punch-able face of his... if only you could punch him right in that stupidly charmed face without angering Evelyn or George. âWhatâs the matter princess? Already done with me? Pfft.â He let out a gentle laugh âIâve hardly said anything too! A new record for me thenâ You huffed having enough of his childish teasing you stomp away to the mines to vent the frustration out on clearing the almost never-ending caves.
Sword in hand you swing it haphazardly at the monsters that dare prey upon you as you gather some stone and ore trying to forget the moments of the early morning that still haunt your mind, his teasing words, and that cocky smile of his still dug itself deep in your thoughts no matter how many you slayed he was still on your mind. As the sky grew darker fading to a beautiful pink, you made your way back cutting through the town once more now stopped by Evelyn who wanted to say how she had bought one of your animalsâ products indulging in this conversation now as she gives you small tips with cooking you hadnât yet realise who was holding her groceries until he too stood beside Evelyn, and within seconds his lips were in a wide grin from cheek to cheek while he waited for his grandmother to take a small break before butting in âHey granâma why not invite her over to have dinner? Sheâs probably starved from all the hard work she does.â He suggests drawling out each thing said just to add more teasing to his words as he leaned down closer to his grandmother his eyes drifting back between you and Evelyn as he watched her face light up with glee
âOH yes! Wonderful Idea Alex! Come dear you must stay for dinner; Iâm cooking salmon dinner; I may even bake my special cookies for youâ Now heâs stuck you in it, and you were just to nice to decline her offer with how joyous it made her âIâll stay for dinner, but after I must get back homeâ you explained with furrowed brows, and Evelynn nodded taking your arm with hers as she gently patted your shoulder as she lead her back to her house still talking about how nice it will be. You glare over at Alex who is walking not far behind with a cheeky grin on his face as he chuckles silently revelling in the fire in your eyes when you look at him like that; oh, how those eyes make things stir within him, things he never knew he felt about you.
As soon as you all were inside Evelyn wasted no time in sorting dinner grabbing the groceries off Alex âGeorge! We have a guest for dinner tonight! Itâs Alexâs friend you know? The farmer?â Evelyn called out to her husband who stubbornly paused his program as he wheeled himself to the kitchen âGreat. More people, hmph.â He grumbled as he past you on his way, shocked by his extra grumpiness Alex leant down right near your ear as his mouth tickled the shell of your ear âDonât take it to heart, heâs like that. Means he likes yahâ he hushed his words out quietly feeling how his proximity made your body shiver making him tread closer his voice lowering to a deep raspier tone âWhatâs with the shiver's princess? D'you like me sounding like this that much? Damn.â He was about to add more but leashed himself from it as he led you to the kitchen with his grandparents while he went to grab a spare chair from his room for you.
âSo, howâs your farm treating ye?â George asked surprisingly less harsh than his usual tone it took you a moment to process his question from the tension between you and Alex âAh well, itâs going as well as it can be to be fairâ you answered with a subtle quiver in your tone as you watched Alex retrieve the chair from his room carrying it effortlessly down the hall, placing it down next to you as he motioned for you to sit, obliging to his motion as you sat down about to pull the chair in closer to the table before Alex shoved the chair close for you; his fingers lingering on your back as he pulls his own seat out situating himself beside you âAlex have you heard about the grid ball match coming up?â His grandfather attempted to make conversation to pass the time, and while the two discussed the game you had drifted away in your thoughts.
âHereâs dinner my dears, enjoyâ Evelyn soothed out as she placed our plates down while she now sat too âThanks granâma!â Alex exclaimed with glee wasting no time in digging in âThank you Mrs. Mullner I appreciate you for having me for dinnerâ You thanked her softly before you too ate from your plate, Evelyn smiled and nodded at both thankingâs watching you two for a moment before tilting her head over to George whom was already eating his fill but he met her gaze and nodded going back to his food as she did the same. After you had all finished Alex insisted that heâd do the dishes so Evelyn could bake her cookies before you had to leave âI really do appreciate the thought, but I should really get going...â you stated again but Evelyn just gently shushed your worries as she caringly patted your head âIt wonât be too long dear, Iâll just make some and send you off with some to go dearâ she added as she made her way over to the kitchen.
Alex just finishing off the last few pieces of cutlery as he placed them in their coordinated places, wiping his hands dry as he made his way back over to you his eyes locked on yours. âHey, would you mind grabbing me a book from the living room?â George asked you as he glanced between you both before focusing back on you as he pointed you over to where the living room was as you stood up and make your way over you notice how Alex has followed you lingering a bit away from you, arms folded as he watches you look through the shelves to find something that may interest Mr. Mullner grabbing one that was quite old looking; seemingly untouched for Yoba knows how long as you dusted off the remnants of forgottenness on the cover.
You turn to see Alex had moved closer now, bodies practically a hairs width apart, hands now fallen at his sides while his emerald green hues lingered on your face âAlex?â you whisper out waving a hand gently in front of his face to which he catches your wrist in his hand the grip is tight but not painful just firm, you let out a shaky breath trying to free your wrist from his hand âStay.â He rasped out as he lowered his gaze for a dash just to look back up once more âItâs pouring out there; youâll get soaked through before you even get to the bus stop.â He added loosening his grasp letting his hand slide down to your forearm âPlease.â his voice pleaded; strumming your heart strings in a way you never knew it could as you kept his gaze noticing the genuine concern shimmering in those green eyes of his.
âAlex Iâll be fine, Iâd dry off when I'm home.â You attempt to move away from him now that his grip has lessened but he just pulls you back closer now gently backing you up against the bookshelf âYouâd have already been too soaked that youâll have caught the cold or the flu, That wouldnât be so good for your animals now no?â He murmured against your ear before letting you go and stepping away back to the kitchen, âStupid boy.â you thought as you follow along handing George his book taking your seat again, Alex soon joins you after laying his head on his propped up hand whilst his eyes laid upon you his grandmother eventually brings over a small tray of fresh baked cookies âHere you are, take as many as youâd like sweetheartâ Evelyn beamed gently slapping her husband's hand away from the tray as she waited for you to pick your few first.
You had pick up four leaving eight still left for themselves, now standing by the door you politely bow before Mrs and Mr Mullner âThank you for having me tonight I enjoyed my time here, and your food was amazing Mrs Mullnerâ you commented as you held the small pouch of cookies in your hands âOh please, my dear call me Evelyn no need for the formality with usâ she inquires before she quickly turns to Alex
âAlex, would you please walk her so she gets home safely? Iâll give you my umbrellaâ without even giving him a chance to agree she was already rushing to her room grabbing her umbrella and holding it to him shoving him over to you âBye now! See you soon I hope!â Evelyn and George wave you goodbye while you and Alex step out of the front door, he props up the umbrella holding it up over your head as he stuffed his other hand in his jersey pocket while he steadied his pace to match yours, âheâs quietâ you noted tilting your head slightly âWhatâs wrong? Are you out of teases?â you quipped, that surely caught his attention; green eyes peering at you from the side as the subtle tilt of a smirk tugged at his lips âWell look whoâs gained some biteâ he huffed out as a laugh âJust thinking.â he added on letting the words linger in the settling silence that stayed until he walked you to your front steps âWell guess thatâs my job doneâ He drawled out with a wide toothy grin âYes it seem it is, Goodbye Alex.â you dismiss him getting one foot on the first step before his hand is tugging your arm
âOoh, donât you know you need 'a pay? You need to give your escort a kiss those the rules little miss farmer.â He teased carefully pulling you back down from the step âyou have got to be pulling my leg.â you groan tugging your arm away from him âWould you rather me do that?â Alex quipped stepping closer leaning down just a little âDoesnât even need to be lips princessâ he states a low chuckle escaping his lips as his eyes pierce through your own. âFine.â you finally cave, just to shut him up and get him to leave you yanked his collar pulling him close to you as you press a chaste kiss upon his lips and shove him back âGood night.â you slam your door shut. And Alex is outside stunned by how you followed through with his tease, it was unexpectedly pleasant. But that was only the beginning for him.
