My 21st “Exoplanet” series painting. This series explores impressions of what it might be like on planets outside the solar system.

LP 890-9 c is a super Earth exoplanet that orbits an M-type star in its habitable zone, has a mass of 25.3 Earths, takes 8.5 days to complete one orbit of its star, and is 105 light-years away from us. The planet is tidally locked so the terminator is the best place to visit.

I don’t use AI tools to make my art. And AI tools do not have permission to train on or assimilate my art.

i’m actually quite happy with how this looks in bw but i do think i want to make an attempt to color it. at the very least i think i wanna add some shading. this was so fun…it’s been rattling around my brain for a while, i’m glad i finally got it out of there lol it’s a bit of a vice versa deep cut about a very specific scene towards the end that i haven’t even written yet
