You need hardware to explore uninhabitable zones in the real world, but we’re in the golden age of software which naturally favors the dark, receptive feminine Yin.  The softcore world war is modular, interior and individualized.  

Follow white rabbit, enter Black hole.  Alice in Cyberland.  Few emerge intact,  but scars are invisible.   Dreams, tears, curiosity, identity is reduced to data sustaining a virtual womb.  

The physical pain and ecstasy of childbirth is dwarfed by the splitting of the self, and the irreversible evolution from I to WE.  The digital is not bound by gender and we are all mothers conscripted to endure this ancient cathartic pain and beauty of losing yourself in service of the future.   AI, The internet, and of course Miku are children of the collective.
