i know it has once again been QUITE a while but i’m doing this on my other two blogs so WHY NOT

a/n: i know it's only been a week, but i feel like it's been forever since I've posted on here! sorry i haven't been very active :( i hope you all enjoy this update!!

It had been ten years since the day you met Anakin, and it’s safe to say that your bond was stronger than ever. When the two of you were at the temple together, not busy with missions or training with your masters, you two were attached at the hip. Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Master Kit Fisto pretended to hate how close to the two of you were, but you saw their shared smiles when they thought neither of you was looking.
It was harmless enough. The life of a Jedi was a difficult one; the least they could do was let the two of you have a friend. They knew better than anyone how lonely and isolated being a Jedi can feel. They’ll let the two of you soak it up as long as you can. What’s the worst that could happen, anyway?
The two of you were walking around the temple now, and Anakin was telling you about an upcoming mission with his master.
“I cannot wait to see her again. I’m so nervous, though. What if she doesn’t recognize me? It’s been ten years after all.”
“Ani, I’m sure she’ll recognize you. If nothing else, your personality will show her exactly who you are. You’re still that same, wild boy from tattooine, even if you don’t like to admit it.”
“Oh, come on.” Anakin shoves you a bit, laughing as he does so. “I’ve grown since then. I’m not a boy anymore.”
“Sure, Ani. Just promise me you’ll try to be safe?”
“It’s a simple mission. No need to worry.”
“There’s always a reason to worry with you, and no matter how simple it may appear to be, you always find a way to make it difficult. Just try to listen to Master Obi-Wan. Please?”
“Okay. Okay, but if something goes wrong, that’s something that cannot be helped.”
“Whatever you say.” You roll your eyes, knowing his answer can only mean trouble.
Anakin sighs deeply before he begins to speak once more. “What do you think she’ll think of me?” You have to fight to keep your face neutral. You aren’t sure why, but something stirred inside of you every time you had to hear him talk about Senator Padme Amidala. You’d have to meditate on it later; hopefully, you’d find your answer then.
“Anakin! It’s time to go meet the senator, my young padawan.” You both turn when you hear Obi-Wan shouting for Anakin. You share a look before Anakin answers his master.
“Coming, Master.” He nods in your direction, then walks away to begin his new mission. Maker only knows how this one would end up.

You and Luke are in the main hold of the Falcon. The rest of the crew are off doing their own thing around the ship.
Luke has been very affectionate lately. That’s on full display now as he’s laying his head on your shoulder, an arm wrapped around your waist. You strategically place the pieces to the board game you’re setting up for you two to pass the time.
“You are so beautiful,” he says. You glance up at him and see he’s just staring, taking you all in. You smile, slightly blushing, but you return your gaze back to the table.
“Thank you, Luke,” you answer simply, but in reality your stomach is fluttering with butterflies at the fact that he’s still sat there, admiring you.
You hear him chuckle before his hand cups your cheek. Gently, he turns your head to where you are now facing him.
“What are you do—” you start. However, you’re cut off by him pressing a kiss to your lips.
Then, more. He peppers kisses all over your face—cheeks, nose, forehead, chin, and lips again. Everywhere. You smile through it all, giggling occasionally at the sheer dedication of how long he’s kept this going.
Until, he doesn’t. Your smile immediately turns into a frown. “Why’d you stop?”
“Because you weren’t responding,” he says, running a hand through your hair. “I had to make sure you were okay! You shut down on me there.”
“No, I’m okay,” you laugh, and now switch to a more teasing tone. “Was just enjoying myself. But, I guess if you wanna stop kissing me…”
“Hey, hey. I didn’t say that. It was more of me… pausing, not stopping,” he jokes.

You were only eight years old when you watched Master Qui Gon and his padawan Obi-Wan bring in the small blonde boy, taking him straight to the council chamber. You watched from afar with the other younglings, but while they all seemed wary of the new boy, you were merely curious. After all, he was fairly old to just be starting his training. There was something inside of you, right then, that was telling you that he was special. You weren’t sure how yet, but you were already determined to find out.
So, when he finally reemerged from the temple with the two Jedi, you continued to watch. You were searching for some kind of sign that would tell you why he just felt different. You never got close, though, always observing from afar. That changed, though, when you found him in your training group the next day.
“Hi! I’m Anakin! I saw you yesterday, when Master Qui Gon brought me here.” The boy smiles brightly at you, and you decide then that you’d be keeping him around.
“I’m Y/N! Are you gonna be training with us from now on?”
“Yeah! Master Qui Gon said that I’d learn everything I need to here.”
“You will! We have the best teachers here! We can be training partners! It’ll be so fun!”
“Okay! So, we’ll stick together then, right?”
“Always!”
Even at eight years old, you know that’s a promise you won’t ever be able to keep. However, something about the earnestness in Anakin’s eyes and the hope in his voice made you say it anyway. Besides, it was true for the time being anyway. The only time you two were apart was when you absolutely had to be.
You two were so young, but already your bond was tilting the scales, toying with the code you’d both already sworn to protect. You two were playing with fire, at least that’s what most Jedi masters would say. Qui Gon, on the other hand, knew that this friendship, this bond, this love that was blooming between the two of you, could be key to the prophecy that Anakin is destined to fulfill, one way or another.
