You and Luke are in the main hold of the Falcon. The rest of the crew are off doing their own thing around the ship.
Luke has been very affectionate lately. That’s on full display now as he’s laying his head on your shoulder, an arm wrapped around your waist. You strategically place the pieces to the board game you’re setting up for you two to pass the time.
“You are so beautiful,” he says. You glance up at him and see he’s just staring, taking you all in. You smile, slightly blushing, but you return your gaze back to the table.
“Thank you, Luke,” you answer simply, but in reality your stomach is fluttering with butterflies at the fact that he’s still sat there, admiring you.
You hear him chuckle before his hand cups your cheek. Gently, he turns your head to where you are now facing him.
“What are you do—” you start. However, you’re cut off by him pressing a kiss to your lips.
Then, more. He peppers kisses all over your face—cheeks, nose, forehead, chin, and lips again. Everywhere. You smile through it all, giggling occasionally at the sheer dedication of how long he’s kept this going.
Until, he doesn’t. Your smile immediately turns into a frown. “Why’d you stop?”
“Because you weren’t responding,” he says, running a hand through your hair. “I had to make sure you were okay! You shut down on me there.”
“No, I’m okay,” you laugh, and now switch to a more teasing tone. “Was just enjoying myself. But, I guess if you wanna stop kissing me…”
“Hey, hey. I didn’t say that. It was more of me… pausing, not stopping,” he jokes.

These are prompts for my Revenge of the 5th Star Wars day celebration! I figured I’d commemorate it with this mini celly because this year is its 20th anniversary! You can pick any prompt from below + any character from the series, and I will write it for you! You can find the masterlist → here!
⏾“Are you still thinking about me? Is that why you’re unfocused?”
⏾ “Why can’t you just stop for once in your life?!”
⏾ “Since when did you care about me?”
⏾ “You said you like it, so I brought it for you.”
⏾ “Why’d you stop?” “Because you weren’t responding.”
“Ani!” you whisper-shout, taking off in his direction.
Standing in the doorway of one of the temple’s nurseries is your husband. He just got back from an assignment that lasted six long days. And finally, he’s home.
Anakin smiles, wrapping you up in a bone-crushing hug the moment your bodies meet. “Y/n, my love!”
Your giggles are muffled as he holds you tightly to his chest. You go to pull away, but he doesn’t let you go far. He gently holds your arms, his face still close to yours.
“Anakin, I’ve missed you,” you confess, although it's not much of a surprise to him.
He holds eye contact, sighing. “I know. I’m sorry. The council continues to assign me all of these missions. I’m trying my best to remain in control. It’s a heavy load.”
“Don’t apologize. I know it’s not your fault. You’re simply too good of a knight, aren’t you?” you tease.
“I suppose I am,” Anakin says with a smirk. He looks away from you for the first time since he’s come in, and over to the younglings. “The initiates are all asleep?”
You nod, glancing over at them as well. “Yes, only a moment ago I got the last of the younglings to sleep. They’ve had a long day of training, you know?”
“These initiates? These few are the youngest out of everyone, are they not?” Anakin asks with a curious smile.
Your gaze remains on the group, watching as they sleep so peacefully. “Well yes, of course. Why wouldn’t they be training, Ani?”
“They’re merely babies, my love. Some of them haven’t even reached two years of age,” he chuckles.
You look back to your husband, raising your eyebrows. “Now, imagine what’d happen if we were to leave a force-sensitive one year old completely untrained.”
“That is fair,” Anakin agrees, completely amused at the thought. “Can you imagine our children training someday?”
You freeze. Does he know? He can’t. He’s not been here for long. It's a coincidence. “I think that’d be a beautiful thing to experience… someday.”
“Our relationship will be accepted soon enough,” he adds, and presses a chaste, but very affectionate kiss to your lips.
“I certainly hope so,” you say when the both of you pull away, shooting him a hopeful smile. You make your rounds, checking on each youngling once more, before taking Anakin’s hand. “Come with me? I’m tired, and it’s time for bed.”
“When have I ever denied you something like that?” he asks, letting you lead him to your billet.

You quietly move around your bedroom, doing everything you need to prepare yourself for bed. Anakin is fixated on your every movement the entire time, his eyes darting around to keep up with you. Once that’s complete, you climb up to lay next to him, laying your head on his chest.
“Are you comfortable?” he asks as he rests his mechno-arm on your waist.
You bury your body as close as you can possibly get to him, letting out a yawn. Then, you are able to respond. “I’m wonderful.”
Anakin smiles. He’s happy to be back with you. He’s honestly not quite sure how he ever manages to go so long without you. When he’s away on missions he’s constantly replaying memories in his head just to get by. This however, is not a memory. Not yet, at least. Soon, it’ll be another moment for him to cherish while he’s gone. But until that time comes, he gets to live this right now. He gets to be with you.
