What would you consider your favourite hobby and/or pass-time to be?

To be honest even though I have a bunch of different hobbies. I don’t have time for them.

I like playing online pc games, I read a lot. I watch anime when I have time. Minecraft and stardew valley. I don’t have space for a pic set up.

I have a bunch of guitars and different string instruments. I listen to a lot of music, all varieties.

Mostly I just collect things. Like guitars, poetry. Thrift shop finds. Shells. I have like a million jars of shells and rocks I’ve collected from places I’ve been.

I want my next collection to be quilts. Maybe wood working tools. I just learned how to use a mitre saw. I like building things.

Food is a big hobbie for me. I love so much food.

I guess I really idolize different parts of the world. So picking a specific spot would be hard.

Portugal weather sounds nice. Just a small town in a small villa. I’d want the same thing if it were Italy instead. Somewhere off the coast of Naples. A quick drive to Rome wouldn’t be so bad. Then I could go to all the art galleries.

Life just seems more laid back in different places. I’d have a hard time leaving my family farm. My mothers family is all I’d really care about leaving behind, my grandparents would be too old to make the trip. I’d probably just take them with me.

But I also have always wanted to go to Egypt. Maybe not live there but go and see all of the historic places before they’re ruined more over my life span.

It’s hard to choose one place. People always say home is where the heart is, but after reading so many books I feel like a spider web connecting to all these places.

Hard to say really!

I want to build a home on my family farm. Though it might not be realistic right now, I want to be able to keep up the farm after my grandparents pass. We have wild grapes and we do need to try and maintain what we have before we build anything new. It’s a place I’ve always called home and I want my children to have the same anchor.

I want to travel and find a small town somewhere in Italy or Spain. I love olives and I’d like to have a farm of my own. I just love plants a lot.

I want a huge flower garden to maintain. Vegetable and berries. I just like being outside. And it feels like there are some countries that value time differently from us here. Where meals aren’t just eaten on a TV tray. They have huge meals with their entire family. I want that closeness, genuine connection.

I just want a family. My own was quite dysfunctional so imagining a family that raises each other up rather then abuse them. The grass just seems a lot greener.

I want to cook pasta from scratch. Have a huge pantry filled with dry goods I’ve made myself. A big library. Filled with philosophy and poetry. Ways of managing mental chaos. And books to help escape reality for awhile.

And I want my bed big enough to hold all my little ones in. So we can all be together all the time.

Probably my home and honey moon. I don’t see many people actually getting to enjoy their weddings. Let alone have honey moons based off of the price of a wedding. And the cost of housing has gone up again so anyone in my generation is going to struggle.

Home means more to me then a wedding. Having a big garden to be in all day with different fruit trees to pick from in the late summer. I just want somewhere to exist with my family. To enjoy with the person that will appreciate me and grow wild children with me.

I can say that. Even though I went through hell to survive the summer. It was all completely worth it. I don’t think I’ve been this happy in years.

I got back from Algonquin and immediately went to Canada’s wonderland with my favourite boss and coworkers. We got drunk in Toronto together and had the best spicy foods at the bar fancy.

Then I went to Muskoka for the long weekend to catch up with one of my closer friends. It was a big party with some college friends. I met some real genuine dweebs. I love them all. And by the end of the weekend I had a date.

My first date in a year or so. He was nice. But more of a friend type unfortunately. But I’m glad I went out anyway on a limb.

This resulting in a onion ring feast and the office on repeat until we both dozed off.

When I got home I went thrift shopping. In total. I’ve gone thrift shopping four times this week. And I’ve found some of the coolest things. I honestly love thrift shopping over retail shopping.

And to top off my social life kicking off I found a job in a new city. I have a list for my Ikea run later this month.

I’ve got a concert coming up and my dads coming home for thanksgiving.

Life couldn’t get any better. I needed to share it on the Internet. I’m blooming
