The American mentality of freedom of expression has literally rotted some people's brains. We've gone from “it's part of literature to portray taboo and obscure subjects and we as readers must remain critical” to literally defending the production of CSAM. Not an author just DEPICTING abuse but LITERALLY producing CSAM. Those who defend this are no different from those who make child porn comics, racists who make black face art or those who use AI to create child porn, after all it's all fiction. Worst of all, these people genuinely think that by tolerating intolerance with a shallow discourse bathed in American pedantry they are fighting facism.
