“Get over here,” Bakugou said, glaring at you from across the bed. You had nearly scooched towards the edge of the mattress, dangerously close to falling off.
“You’re like a heater…” you whined. “No more cuddling for one night. Please?”
“WHAT?!” Bakugou looked like you told him to go jump off of a cliff. “The heat is not that bad! Just get over here!”
“No…”
You turned your back to him, hoping for a peaceful night’s rest. Oh how wrong you were.
Bakugou shuffled over to your side of the bed, muttering complaints as he finally reached your back.
He shook your shoulder gently. “Cuddle me.”
“Katsuki… no…”
Bakugou sighed.
“…Please?” His tone was surprisingly vulnerable. “If I take my shirt off, will that help? Just don’t wanna sleep alone without ya…”
You groaned cutely. “Fine, fine.”
He whipped off his shirt and you rolled into his strong arms. He exhaled contentedly, his face digging into your hair for comfort.
“This wasn’t so bad, was it?” Bakugou asked, his smile pressing into your head.
“If I die from overheating, it’s your fault. Remember that, sweetie.”
Mina exclaims after giving you a hug, going back in closer to your neck to take a big inhale. “Huh?” You clock your head to the side, pulling away and plopping onto the couch in the common room next to Ochaco.
“I can swear i’ve smelled that before.” Mina crosses her hands in front of her, narrowing her eyes at you. “What—No? I haven’t changed my pef—“ You chuckle nervously. You knew you shouldn’t have cuddled him right before this, he always gets his sweat on you and consecutively, you smell just like him.
“Oh my god! I know this smell! You—“ Mina says, pointing an accusatory finger at you, voice loud enough to catch the attention of Bakugo’s squad who are all the way across the huge space.
“You smell like Bakugo!”
Noise stops, heads snap, a moment later gasps ensue.
“You totally do! You smell like caramel!” Mina keeps pointing at you dramatically, footsteps of the boys are heard before they enter your view, all ready to join the chaos.
“You know, you’re right. I got new perfume. It’s in my room.” It’s so not in your room because you never bought new perfume. Ochaco leans in close too, “No, no, Mina’s right! You do smell like Bakugo!” She exclaims too.
“I do not—” You don’t even get to defend yourself.
“Hah! I knew you were dating him! He‘a a hundred times calmer when you’re around!” Denki interrupts you, throwing his hands up. “Denki, you owe me 10 bucks!” Kirishima laughs.
“I am not dating Kats—Bakugo.” Your voice carries over the chorus of conversation, leaning against the back of the couch. Before anyone can say anything else, you feel warm lips press against your neck, hot breath fanning against your skin.
“You were saying?” Katsuki murmurs against your neck as your roll your eyes. You throw him a glare over your shoulder, Katsuki takes the chance to press a peck to your lips as your classmates around you lose their minds.
he agreed to keep it a secret but he can’t have his girl denying being his in public 😏
Bakugo sincerely believes his mother loves you more than she loves him. The way she dotes on you, softens around you, and asks about you every time he visits alone is proof enough in his eyes. He never complains though, secretly, he likes how close the two of you are, even if he’d never admit it.
The day after you said 'yes' to his proposal, he decided to tell his parents. He drove to their house with you in the passenger seat, barely able to contain your happiness, while his handsome face held that familiar scowl meant to disguise his own excitement.
His mom and dad welcomed you warmly, just as they always did, ushering you inside while asking how you’d been.
And soon…
_ "WHAT? You actually proposed?! So you two are getting married?" Mitsuki blurted out excitedly, clasping her hands together as she looked between you and him.
_ "Why’re you yelling, old hag?!” Katsuki snapped back a little more furiously than necessary, his cheeks turning red. “Yeah, I did. What’s it to you?!"
_ "Because you’re an idiot, and I’m shocked someone put up with your attitude long enough to say yes!"
_ "Don’t call me that, damn it!"
_ "I’ll call you whatever I want, you brat! And you’d better treat her right, or I swear I’ll kick your ass!"
_ "Like hell I wouldn’t! I’ll treat her like a damn princess!"
_ "Good! That’s what I like to hear! And I want grandkids before I hit fifty!"
_ "That’s not up to you, hag!"
They went at it for several minutes, loud arguments mixed with even louder congratulations, while you and Masaru sat there quietly, smiling at your loved ones.
_ "They'll calm down soon," Masaru whispered to you, a gentle smile on his face, "would you like something to drink while we wait?"
You nodded your head, giggling softly. "That would be great, thank you."
Imagine the intimacy of resting your forehead against your f/o's.
Your foreheads meet a little awkwardly, not the seamless, cinematic press people imagine, but a careful alignment that take a second to find. Your nose nudge his on the way in, soft and clumsy, and neither of you pull back far enough to fix it. Your breaths overlap immediately—too warm, too loud, each inhale feels against the other’s upper lip, a shared rhythm that refuses to settle. This close, vision becomes useless; his features blurs into color and shadow, your lashes just a dark flicker at the edge of his sight.
It is disorienting, being that near and seeing almost nothing, forced instead to notice everything else—the slight give of skin against skin, the faint shift when one of you adjusts by a fraction, the way your breathing keeps brushing, interrupting, insisting. It isn't comfortable, not exactly. It is too close, too real. And maybe that is the point—there is no distance left to perform across, nowhere to look but into the small, unsteady space between you and him, where even silence feels shared.

absolutely does katsuki bakugo win whenever you tackle him.
it started randomly, one day while he was doing nothing in particular, you just tackled him out of nowhere.
from behind, a shitty move, but it brought him to the ground. and part of him knew it was you — yet his competitive ass didn't care if he was dating you or not.
he easily flipped you over, pinning you down. "i won," he spoke, leaning down so he was in your face, smirking.
he watched your lips purse in thought, before you leaned up and pecked his lips.
"cute, but i still won," he hummed, though his gaze softened slightly.
you let out a small hum, leaning up to press your lips together once more, and his hand traveled to cup your face, angling it so your lips slotted together just right.
and when your now free hand came up to deliberately bring the wrestling on your side, his hand left your face, catching you by the wrist. though he didn't pull away as he brought your wrist back down to your side.
and katsuki finally parted with a shit-eating grin. "'m not that stupid, baby."
you'd think as a boyfriend katsuki bakugo would grab your ass or some shit like that, no, this man deliberately smacks the back of your head whenever he passes you.
it depends on the day but sometimes it's a tap, or just a shove. if it irritates you or not, he won't stop unless you directly confront him.
he does it sparingly, however. only if he's passing by, not if he's coming towards you.
he just really dotes on your face slash head, though. he'll tap your forehead whenever you're not getting it, boop your nose with a shit-eating grin, grab your attention by poking the back of your head.
he'll rest his chin on the top of your head when he's tired ( preferring it over your shoulder most days ), kiss the top of your head whenever he's saying goodbye, place his hand on the top of your head and turn you to face him so he can kiss you.
Bakugo Katsuki has a secret girlfriend! ★﹙𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭﹚
The common room of the Heights Alliance dorms was usually a sanctuary of peaceful noise—Kaminari playing video games, Mina complaining about her skincare routine, and Sero attempting to balance a water bottle on his foot.
Today, however, the atmosphere was thick with paranoia.
Kaminari leaned over the back of the used sofa, his eyes narrowed as he stared across the room. Bakugo was sitting at the kitchen island, quietly eating a bowl of spicy curry. He didn’t even blow up the microwave.
It was weird.
"Okay, nobody move," Kaminari whispered, clutching a bag of chips like it was a shield. "Look at him. He’s been eating like that for three days straight. Do you think a villain put a quirk on him? Is he a clone? He’s gotta be a clone."
"He’s not a clone dude," Kirishima muttered, crossing his arms with a deeply furrowed brow. "A clone would still have some fighting spirit. Yesterday, I asked him to spot me in the gym, and you know what he said?"
"What?" Mina breathed, leaning in closer.
"'Take your time, Kirishima, safety first.'"
A collective, horrified gasp echoed through the group.
"He called you by your name, and gave you safety advice?" Sero whispered, looking pale. "He’s been replaced by an alien pod like those movies. We gotta do something. But who’s the one person who always knows what’s going on with Bakugo, no matter how much they try to avoid each other?"
Four pairs of eyes snapped simultaneously toward the common room door, where a green-haired boy was quietly trying to sneak toward the elevators clutching a notebook.
"Midoriya!" Mina sang out, materializing in front of him with a bright smile.
Midoriya jumped three feet into the air. "Mina! Hi! I was just—homework! Dorm room!"
"Midoriya, my dude," Kirishima said, stepping in from the other side with a hand heavy on the green-haired boy's shoulder. "We need to talk about Kacchan."
Izuku immediately started sweating profusely, his hands fluttering nervously. "K-Kacchan? Oh, Kacchan’s fine! Totally fine! Haha! Why wouldn't he be fine?"
"He’s acting super weird man," Sero said, his voice deadly serious. "He didn't yell at me when I tripped and spilled iced tea on his shoes this morning. He just sighed, sighed, Midoriya, and gave me a napkin."
Izuku let out a high-pitched sound and looked away, his eyes darting frantically toward the exit. "Well, you know! People change! Personal growth! High school is a journey of self-reflection! And after what what happened last year—"
"You're lying," Kaminari pointed out, jabbing a finger at him. "Your face is doing that twitchy thing it does when All Might says something cool. Spill it, bro. What does he know? Is he dying? Does he have a secret terminal illness?"
"No! He’s not dying!" Izuku blurted out, waving his hands wildly. "He’s just... you know... occupied! With things! Personal, totally normal human things that do not involve me leaking his personal business because he threatened to blast me into the stratosphere if I said a single word to anyone!"
Mina gasped, her eyes turning into literal sparkling stars. "He’s hiding something! There’s a girl, isn't there?"
Izuku clamped both hands over his mouth, his eyes wide as saucers. The silence that followed was confirmation enough.
"Oh my god," Sero whispered. “The impossible has come.”
—
"Alright, listen up team," Mina whispered fiercely, crouching behind a potted plant in the second-floor hallway. "We track him. We find out who he’s meeting up with, and we force it out of him."
"Is this really necessary?" Kirishima hissed back, though he was currently wearing a ridiculously oversized trench coat and fake Groucho Marx glasses that kept sliding down his nose. "It feels like a major invasion of privacy."
"Kiri, he smiled at a text message yesterday," Kaminari whispered from beneath a cardboard box labeled Totally Normal Furniture. "A smiling Bakugo is a threat to national security. We are doing this for world peace. Maybe he’s under some kinda quirk."
Kirishima grumbled back and was suddenly pushed when Kaminari hid back into his box.
Down the hall, Bakugo’s door clicked open. He stepped out dressed in a surprisingly neat black button-down and dark jeans, checking his phone with a look of mild, sickening fondness before walking down the stairs toward the main entrance.
"He’s moving!" Sero hissed. "Move, move, move!"
The clumsy procession of heroes-in-training crept down the stairs, ducking behind couches, pillars, and in Sero’s case, an unfortunate attempt to blend in with a vending machine.
They followed him all the way off campus, trailing him through the shopping district until he finally stopped outside a quiet, café near the train station. The squad crammed themselves into a narrow alleyway across the street, peering through a gap between a dumpster and a lamppost.
"Okay, who’s he meeting? An old middle school friend? A villain informant?" Kaminari squinted. "Wait. Is that..."
Through the café window, Bakugo walked up to a corner booth. Standing up to greet him was a girl with an easygoing grin, wearing the distinct dark uniform jacket of Shiketsu High School.
"Shiketsu?" Sero whispered, his jaw dropping. "He’s dating a Shiketsu student? Shit that’s like... Romeo and Juliet? The UA-Shiketsu rivalry is legendary!"
Inside the café, Bakugo didn't yell at her. In fact, to the absolute shock of the hidden UA students, he pulled out the chair for her, sat down, and actually—actually—rolled his eyes with a fond little smirk before leaning across the table to say something.
"Look at him," Mina whispered, clutching her chest with dramatic emotion. "He’s acting so normal, like a soft little marshmallow."
"Don't let him hear you say that or he’ll murder us all," Kirishima muttered, still adjusting his ridiculous disguise.
Suddenly, a loud clatter echoed through the alley. Kaminari, trying to get a better angle on the window, had tripped over an empty soda can.
The can bounced noisily across the pavement, right out of the alley and into the open street.
Inside the café, Bakugo’s head snapped toward the window with. His eyes locked instantly onto the gap between the dumpster and the lamppost, where four very guilty, poorly disguised UA students were standing like deer in headlights.
Bakugo’s eye twitched. A tiny spark of orange flame popped against his palm.
"He saw us! Abort mission!" Sero yelled.
"Fuck! Run for your lives!" Kaminari shrieked.
As the Bakusquad scrambled backward down the street in a cloud of panic, Bakugo slammed his hands down on the café table, completely terrifying his girlfriend, and shouted out the window at the top of his lungs:
"I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU IDIOTS DON'T GET OUT OF MY SIGHT, I'LL BLAST YOU ALL TO THE MOON!"
"Well," Mina panted as they sprinted around the corner, laughing uncontrollably. "At least he’s totally back to normal."
—
"What was that about" You asked, sipping on a smoothie.
katsuki bakugo is the type of man to randomly announce he’s dating someone in an interview…
“mr.dynamight, any plans after this patrol is over?!”
he glares at the camera, shoving the lens right out of his face. “tsk—! fuck off, you money hungry extras! it’s none of your—”
the blonde pauses mid-rant, catching everyone off guard as he suddenly leans down.
“—actually, give me this crap!”
he grabs ahold of the no doubt expensive ass camera, essentially blogging on national television in an unfaltering angle zoomed right into his nostrils.
“i know yur’ ass is watching this, y/n, so answer your god damn phone already!!” he shouts, unknowingly becoming a worldwide meme the literal next day.
everyone’s jaws drop as the cameraman scrambles to catch the equipment bakugo tossed back like nothing.
“mr.dynamight, please elaborate! who is this y/n you speak of?!” they exclaim, mics quickly shoved into his face as the paparazzi lights began flashing for the latest hero gossip in town.
“hah?” he scoffs back, frowning like the answer is completely obvious—and like their the idiots for even asking such a thing. “my wife.”
let’s just say your identity was trending the next day on all platforms… #answerthephoney/n

JAMES
there's a loud thud against your bedroom window.
you don't even look up from your laptop at first because you already know who it is. sure enough, when you pull back the blinds, james is hanging upside down from the glass in his full spider-suit. he's holding a greasy brown paper bag in one hand and a giant bouquet of pink flowers in the other.
you slide the window open, and he immediately swings himself inside, landing on his feet with a soft thump. he pulls his mask up past his nose, leaving his mouth free, and gives you a huge, proud grin.
a little too proud.
"happy anniversary, baby!" he says, holding out the flowers and the food. "i got the noodles you like from that place downtown. i almost dropped them twice dodging a bird, but we made it."
you look at the flowers, then down at your oversized t-shirt and grey sweatpants, and then at the screen of your laptop that's currently open to a thirty-page history PDF.
you wince. you hate the conversation you're about to have.
"...james," you say slowly.
"yeah?" he's already walking over to your bed, setting the takeout bag down on your blanket. "i was thinking we could eat first and then go watch a movie. i brought clothes in my backpack so—"
"james. what day is it?"
he blinks, stopping in his tracks. you watch him tilt his head "it's friday."
"it's wednesday."
james stares at you. the mask on his head shifts as his eyes widen underneath it. "no it's not. it's friday."
"it is literally wednesday night," you say, pointing a finger at your laptop screen where the date is displayed in big white numbers. "our anniversary is on friday. in two days."
he steps closer, leaning his face so close to the screen his nose almost touches it. he stares at the screen for three whole seconds before pulling back, looking completely horrified.
"no way," he whispers. "how is it wednesday? i swear to god yesterday was thursday."
"how could yesterday be thursday if today is wednesday?"
"i don't know!" he groans, throwing his hands up in the air. he drops onto the edge of your bed, burying his face in his gloved hands. "my brain is fried. i spent two hours stopping a bank robbery this morning, i thought the week was over!"
you can't help but laugh at him. you walk over and sit down next to him, gently tugging at the edge of his mask until it slides off completely, revealing his messy hair and poutingg face.
"so... your spider-sense can literally tell you when a car is about to hit you from behind, but you can't check a calendar?" you ask, teasing him.
"shut up," he mutters, though a little smile twitches at the corner of his mouth. "the calendar app doesn't tingle when it's important."
"clearly," you laugh, taking one of the pink flowers out of the bouquet and smelling it. "what are we gonna do with all this food now? i'm supposed to be studying for midterms."
james looks up at you, his eyes softening as he reaches out to wrap an arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. "well, since i already bought it... we eat it now. and then on friday, i guess i just have to take you out again."
"again?"
"yeah," he says, pressing a warm kiss to your cheek before grabbing a pair of chopsticks from the bag. "i gotta make up for getting my days mixed up, right?"
JUHOON
you're standing on a chair in your room, on your tiptoes, stretching your arm as high as you can to grab a jar of peanut butter from the top shelf of your closet.
suddenly, there’s a crash. way, way too loud for the peacefulness of your home
you jump so hard you almost knock the chair over. plastic snaps, a lamp falls, and a blur of red and blue comes tumbling straight through your open window, tearing your window blinds completely off the wall before landing in a dramatic, superhero crouch on your floorboards.
what the fuck.
juhoon pops up instantly, his mask already pulling back over his face, eyes wide with adrenaline.
"i got you!" he yells, looking around the room frantically. "where are they? who's attacking you?"
you stand there on top of the chair, staring at him. then you look down at the crumpled, broken blinds lying in a sad heap on your carpet.
"bro," you say flatly.
he blinks, his head darting around your completely empty place. "nuh-uh. i felt it. my spider-sense literally spiked so hard my head hurt. i thought you were getting ambushed."
"juhoon," you frown, holding up the plastic tub in your hand. "i was reaching for peanut butter."
he stops. he looks at you, then at the peanut butter, then down at his feet where the ruind blinds are tangled around his boots.
"peanut butter?" he asks, his voice dropping into a squeak.
"yes. peanut butter."
"you were... struggling?"
"i was on my tiptoes!" you exclaim, stepping down off the chair and gesturing at the disaster near your window. "why would your spider-sense go off over peanut butter?"
juhoon rubs the back of his neck, his cheeks turning bright red as he looks at the damage he just caused. "i don't know! maybe it thought you were gonna fall off the chair? or maybe... maybe the peanut butter was expired?"
"it's unopened!"
"this is your fault. why were you so stressed over peanut butter? your heart rate literally spiked, baby."
"i was hungry, okay? and i thought i was gonna starve because i couldn't reach it! stop deflecting!"
"okay, fine, my bad!" he groans, dropping his hands to his sides and staring at the broken plastic on the floor. "i was just trying to be a good boyfriend and save you! i felt the tingle, and i panicked!"
you sigh, walking over to him and poking his chest. "you tore my blinds off the frame."
"i can fix it," he says quickly, pulling the tangled mess up from the carpet. a second later, a piece of plastic snaps right off in his hand. this is one of the many times he hates the super strength.
he freezes, looking down at the broken piece, then looks up at you with huge eyes. "...i will buy you new blinds. or maybe i can web it together. no one will ever know."
"webbing my window shut is not fixing it!"
he raises his hands in defense, slightly scared that you'll throw the jar at him. "okay, okay, i'll buy new ones."
"you better," you laugh, shaking your head as you pop the lid off the peanut butter. "and next time your head tingles when i'm in my own home, just knock like a normal person."
"noted," juhoon mutters, crouching down to try and hide the broken plastic under your desk. "no more saving you from high shelves."
MARTIN
you and martin are sitting on your bed, sharing a bag of chips as he talks about a crime he stopped earlier, when a knock echoes from your front door.
"hey, open up. it's the landlord, i need to check the radiator."
martin instantly freezes. his eyes go wide. "oh my god," he whispers, his voice pitching up an octave. "it's the cops. they found me."
"it's literally my landlord, martin," you whisper back, scrambling off the bed. "just go out the window! you have—you have the web... things!"
instead of doing the logical thing and jumping out the open window two feet away from him, martin completely panics. he scrambles off the bed, looks around your tiny bedroom like a trapped animal, and spots your plastic blue laundry basket in the corner.
before you can even ask what he's doing, he dives toward it, flips the basket upside down, and squeezes his entire six-foot frame underneath it.
it doesn't work at all.
the basket is sitting at a forty-five-degree angle on top of his back, his red-and-blue limbs poking out from under the edges in every single direction. he's curled up in the tightest fetal position humanly possible, completely motionless.
you stand there in total silence, staring at him.
"martin?" you ask.
"shhh!" a muffled voice comes from beneath the blue plastic. "i'm hiding"
"how are you supposed to be this city's savior?" you ask, pinching the bridge of your nose as the landlord knocks again, harder this time. "you look like a discarded superhero costume in a hamper. except, like, not discarded at all, because everyone can tell you're wearing it, man."
"i'm invisible," martin insists, the basket shifting as he speaks. "just answer the door. act natural."
"you are literally five times bigger than the basket!"
"i'm using stealth tactics!" he whispers fiercely. "go!"
you let out a long, suffering sigh, quickly smoothing down your shirt before walking out into the hallway to open the front door. you manage to distract your landlord for two minutes, talking endlessly about how the radiator works totally fine and sending him on his way.
when you lock the door and walk back into your bedroom, martin is still sitting under the basket, completely stilll.
you walk over and nudge his hip with the toe of your shoe. "he's gone, james bond. you can come out."
the plastic basket slowly tilts up, and martin pulls his mask up past his mouth, looking up at you from the floor with a shit-eating grin.
"see?" he says, dusting off his knees as he untangles himself from the laundry. "worked like a charm. he didn't see a thing."
"he didn't even come into the room, babe."
"because my stealth aura protected us," he says smoothly, standing up and pulling you into a hug, resting his chin on top of your head. "you're welcome, by the way."
you roll your eyes, wrapping your arms around his waist.
new york is doomed.
SEAN
you're sitting at your desk trying to finish an assignment when you hear a steady, annoying drip coming from the bathroom.
sean, who is hanging out on your bed in his full spider-suit with the mask rolled up to his nose, perks his ears up. "is that the sink again?"
"yeah," you sigh, leaning back in your chair. "it’s been doing that all day. I’m gonna have to call my landlord tomorrow."
"don't waste your money," sean says, immediately hopping off the bed with a confident smile. "i can fix it. i fix stuff all the time."
"sean, no," you say, turning around in your chair. "you don't need to do that—"
"it's literally fine, it's just a loose valve," he says, already strolling into your tiny bathroom. "i'll just tighten it a little bit. two seconds."
you get up to follow him, but before you can even cross the room, there's a loud snap.
a second later, a blast of water hits the ceiling.
"oh—shit!" sean yells.
you burst into the bathroom to find a full-blown indoor water fountain blasting straight up from the broken pipe under the sink. water is raining down off the ceiling, soaking the walls, the towels, and sean, who is frantically trying to cover the burst pipe with his bare hands.
"sean!" you exclaim, wiping the spray off your face. "what did you do?"
"i barely touched it!" he yells back, his suit completely drenched and clinging to him as water shoots between his fingers. "i turned it like two millimeters!"
"you have super-strength, you idiot. dude, you snapped the metal."
"i thought it was rusted!" he whines, trying to use a web-shooter to cap the pipe, but the water pressure is so high it just blasts the webbing right into his own face. he wipes a clump of wet web off his forehead, looking totally overwhelmed. "okay, panic over, where's the main shut-off valve?"
"i don't know where the main valve is, this is an apartment building!"
water is already ankle-deep on your bathroom floor and spilling out into the hallway. sean looks at the ruined room, then down at the snapped pipe in his hands, and finally back at you with wide, puppy-dog eyes full of sheer terror
"i'm so sorry," he squeaks, his voice cracking as he stands there soaking wet under the literal waterfall. "i was just trying to be sweet."
you stare at him, water dripping off the hem of your shirt, and let out a long, exhausted laugh because if you don't laugh, you'll cry. "get out of the way, spidey. go grab every single towel i own."
"on it!" he shouts, rushing to help. and immediately slipping on the tile.
"jesus," you mutter.
KEONHO
it's around two in the morning when a noise echoes from your kitchen, followed by a muffled groan and the sound of a refrigerator door swinging open and shut repeatedly.
you rub the sleep from your eyes, stumble out of bed, and walk into the kitchen, flipping the light switch on.
keonho is stuck.
he's lying flat on his back on the floor, his legs propped up against the lower cabinets, completely wrapped in white webbing that ties him directly to the kitchen counter. half a slice of cold pepperoni pizza is still clutched in his gloved hand.
you stand in the doorway, staring at him.
"keonho," you say softly, your voice slightly raspy from sleep. "what are you doing?"
he slowly turns his head toward you, his spider-mask rolled up to his nose, showing a mouth full of pizza. he swallows hard before speaking.
"i was on patrol," he explains carefully, pointing the half-eaten pizza at you. "and i got hungry. so i swung by to check on you—and the fridge."
"and how did you end up webbed to the counter?"
"i tried to be stealthy and open the door with a web string," he mutters, looking extremely embarrassed as he tries and fails to wiggle his arms. "the shooter got caught on the handle, i tripped over my own feet, panicked, hit the button like five times, and... yeah."
you let out a long sigh and turn around, grabbing a pair of kitchen scissors from the holder by the microwave.
"wait, wait, stop," keonho says, watching you step closer with the scissors.
"what? i'm cutting you free."
"you can't," he sighs sadly, letting his head drop back against the floorboards with a dull thud. "the web formula is high-tensile strength. scissors won't cut through it."
"are you serious?" you ask, poking the white webbing with the sharp edge. sure enough, the blades don't even make a dent. "so how do you get out?"
"it... takes two hours to dissolve naturally," he says quietly, refusing to make eye contact with you now.
you stare down at him in disbelief. "you're gonna be stuck to my kitchen floor until four in the morning because you wanted a slice of leftover pizza?"
cold. cold leftover pizza.
"it's really good pizza," he whines weakly, taking another small bite. "do you... wanna sit down here with me? i can share."
you roll your eyes, but you grab a blanket from the couch, throw it over his chest so he doesn't freeze, and sit down right on the floor next to him, taking a bite of the pizza.
"you're unbelievable, kono," you laugh softly.
"yeah, yeah," keonho grins, chewing happily. "wake me up in two hours."
🦢 i dont really want to compromise our friendship, but i got a thing for you, yeah,, friend!juhoon x f!reader, friends that kiss, making out, clingy juhoon, juhoons tipsy, lowercase intended, profanity, fluff, neck kisses (once), 2k~
syn: your friend juhoon just cant stop kissing you. news flash! you dont want him to stop. the lines dont have to blur, right? you guys are going to stay friends, right?
listen to: lowkey by rochelle jordan
james was halfway off the couch, arguing with martin about something neither of them seemed especially invested in proving. seonghyeon had surrendered entirely to scrolling through his phone, occasionally contributing a sentence just often enough to keep james from claiming victory by default. iroha had curled herself into the corner cushion beneath a throw blanket she'd stolen from somewhere after complaining about how loud the party was, and keonho was in the kitchen, quietly rescuing another round of drinks before someone inevitably dropped one.
you sat somewhere in the middle of it, one cross legged, listening more than speaking. the conversation moved around you the way it always did with this group—overlapping, interrupting itself, picking up threads from half an hour ago without anyone needing to explain how they'd gotten there.
juhoon stepped inside carrying a plastic convenience store bag, the green glass bottles inside knocking gently against one another as he crossed the room. his cheeks were faintly pink beneath the warm apartment lights, the flush high enough to suggest someone had already convinced him to drink before he got here. not drunk. just ‘tipsy’.
he dropped the bag onto the coffee table. "i brought more."
james let out an approving noise. "finally."
a few hands immediately reached for the bottles.
juhoon didn't. instead, he looked at you. you noticed because you always did. he crossed the last few steps between you without much urgency and reached out, fingertips brushing lightly against your shoulder until you looked up from your phone. "i need your help."
you blinked. "with what?"
he tilted his head toward the hallway. "come with me?"
there wasn't anything unusual about the request. not to anyone else. martin glanced over from the opposite couch. "you need another person?"
"nah," juhoon answered easily. "we're good."
martin nodded once and reached for another bottle, already distracted again. that was all. nobody questioned it, why would they?
objectively, you and juhoon were friends. there were years of evidence supporting that conclusion. shared classes, same friend group, shared habits accumulated so gradually that no one remembered when they'd started. if one of you disappeared for ten minutes, the assumption was almost always that the other had dragged them into some entirely ordinary errand.
subjectively...subjectively was less cooperative. subjectively, friends probably didn't kiss each other often enough to develop an unspoken system for it. they probably didn't understand the difference between looking and asking. they probably didn't know exactly how long the other would hesitate before saying yes.
fortunately for both of you, those were details no one else had reason to notice.
you stood. "i'll be back."
james lifted a hand dismissing you both without looking up from whatever keonho had just said. the conversation continued itself almost immediately, filling the space you'd vacated. there were enough people there for anyone to notice your absence unless informed.
from the living room, a broad hallway stretched deeper into the first floor. the staircase waited at the very end, sweeping upward toward the second floor before disappearing around the landing. juhoon started walking without checking whether you were behind him.
you followed a pace later.
the music dulled with every step. by the time you'd reached the hallway, the party no longer felt like something you were inside. only something happening in the background.
you opened your mouth. "so...what exactly—"
his hand found your wrist. the interruption was so immediate that the rest of the sentence never made it out. his fingers curled lightly around you with the absent certainty of habit, already guiding you up the staircase before either of you seemed to register what he'd done.
you looked down.
then at him.
juhoon didn't notice.
or perhaps he did, somewhere beneath the pleasant haze of alcohol, because his pace slowed just enough for you to keep beside him without needing to tug against his grip. it wasn't until the foot of the staircase that he glanced back. his eyes dropped automatically to where his hand rested around your wrist. "oh."
there was no embarrassment in his voice. only mild surprise, as though he'd discovered himself halfway through an unconscious decision. for a second, you thought he'd let go. instead, his thumb shifted almost imperceptibly against your skin. "c'mon," he murmured.
juhoon led you further down the corridor of the first floor. pulling you into a vacant room. it looked like a guest room that hadn't been used in some time. a neatly made bed. curtains left half-open. the moonlight being the only source of light in the dark room.
the door clicked shut behind you.
you turned towards him, "you needed help?"
his arms slipped around your waist with an ease that suggested he'd forgotten to think before acting, and a second later his forehead found the crook of your neck. he let out a long and dramatic sigh, his weight settled against you. you could feel his breaths against your skin, his lashes grazing your skin every time he blinked.
your hands tangled themselves in his hair, before you realised it you were absentmindedly running your hands on his back. "what’s wrong?"
he hummed still nuzzled in your neck, the vibrations running down your neck.
"drunk?"
he giggled, "a little?"
"you dragged me upstairs because you’re a little drunk?"
he answered by shaking his head, slow enough that the movement brushed the tip of his nose against your skin before he finally pulled away. the absence of his warmth settled over you almost immediately. for the first time since he'd tugged you upstairs, there was enough space between you for you to properly look at him.
his cheeks were still faintly flushed. a few strands of dark hair had escaped beneath your fingers, falling untidily across his forehead. his eyes met yours. his eyes were blown out.
yup, he’s drunk.
he stared at you for a second, as if he was trying to memorise your face. then, without saying a word, he lifted both hands. his palms settled lightly against your cheeks. you startled not because of the touch itself, but because of the contrast. "your hands are freezing."
his thumb slowly caressed your cheek. "don’t want me near you?"
you laughed softly, "i didn’t say that."
"deal with me then." his voice was raspier than usual. he bent down slightly, one of his hands slipped away from your face disappearing into your hair instead. he gently laced his hands in your hair, making sure not to pull it. his cheek rested atop of your head.
"changed your shampoo?"
you hummed in response as your hands, left with nothing better to do, drifted almost unconsciously to the chain resting against his collarbone. your fingers rolled the small pendant back and forth, the cool metal catching between your fingertips as silence settled comfortably around the two of you.
after a while, he lifted his head from where it'd been resting against yours. the sudden absence of the weight was almost enough to make you look up. his hand remained buried in your hair, fingers still loosely threaded through the strands as though he'd forgotten they were there. with the smallest tug, he drew you a slight bit closer.
he tilted his head. his gaze found yours almost immediately. there it was again. that look. his eyes were still soft from the alcohol, heavy-lidded, carrying the kind of request he never seemed capable of putting into words. he wasn't asking out loud.
he never had to.
you held his gaze for another second before letting out the quietest sigh. "you're unbelievable." you rolled your eyes, though the corners of your mouth betrayed you almost immediately.
he smiled.
the sight of it made your own resolve crumble far faster than you cared to admit. he leaned in slowly, leaving more than enough time for you to stop him if you'd wanted to.
you didn't.
his forehead brushed yours first. then the tip of his nose. his fingers slipped a little further into your hair as he closed the last few inches between you, his lips meeting yours. his other hand met your hips as stepped closer. Your back was pressed into the hallway wall as tispy giggles escaped juhoons lips.
you pulled away slightly, “what?”
“you’re so fucking cute,” he connected his lips to yours again for a brief second before pulling back. he kissed the corner of your mouth, slowly making his way to your neck leaving a trail of kisses on your jaw.
“jju, no.” you whined, gripping his shirt.
his glossy eyes met yours as he kissed you again, hands cradling your lower back. his lips moved against yours as if he was trying to memorise you. You hum into his mouth, “what’s with you today?”
“hmm,” was the only thing leaving his mouth before his mouth brushed yours again. his thumb stroking your jaw. his hands leave your lower back making way to cup your cheeks again. your hands slowly let go off the scrunched material, pushing juhoon away. he only fought back by trying to pull you closer.
he failed.
you pull away breathing heavily. “are you trying to kill me?”
he let out a long, dramatic groan, his forehead falling briefly against your shoulder before he looked at you again. "stop pulling away."
you laughed, giving him another gentle push that he very obviously disagreed with. "juhoon."
"what?"
"i can't breathe here."
he frowned. "i don't care."
You roll your eyes at him again. "yeah, i noticed."
"i missed you." the words left him so easily that you almost forgot to respond. his brows pinched together as he looked at you, genuinely aggrieved. "you were with them the whole time."
you blinked. "juhoon."
"what about me?"
"you were buying drinks."
a pout reached his lips. "i still missed you." you stared at him for a second before letting out a quiet laugh, shaking your head. "i even hit pregame before i came inside."
your eyes narrowed. "you what?"
"had to prepare."
"for?"
"seeing you talk to guys that aren’t me." there wasn't an ounce of embarrassment in his voice. if anything, he looked entirely convinced that made perfect sense. you rolled your eyes so hard they almost hurt. "you're unbelievable."
he smiled. "that's what you said earlier."
"because it's still true."
you reached up, smoothing the front of his shirt where your hands had left it slightly wrinkled. "i'm going downstairs."
his smile disappeared. "Already?"
"yeah."
he sighed. "a few more minutes."
"juhoon."
"one."
you shook your head. "you can come down five minutes later."
his face scrunched immediately. "Five?"
"yes, five." he looked offended by the number. "if anyone asks," you continued, fixing the chain around his neck where you'd been absentmindedly fiddling with it, "some girl was throwing up. we got distracted trying to find her friends so they could take care of her."
he watched you quietly. "Okay?" another pause. "one more kiss?"
you snickered. "nope."
"please?"
"if we're gone any longer, they're going to start wondering."
"let them."
the answer came so quickly you couldn't help smiling. you reached up, brushing the hair away from his forehead one last time. "you're drunk."
"so?"
"so i'm not taking your words at face value."
his lips parted as though he wanted to argue. instead, he settled for the most exaggerated pout you'd ever seen. you cupped his face, getting on your tippy toes to peck the corner of his mouth. "five minutes." you finalised, walking away.
he mumbled something under his breath.
you turned towards him. "what was that?"
"meanie."
your laugh slipped out before you could stop it. you opened the door, glancing back just once more. he was still standing exactly where you'd left him, watching you with the expression of a child whose ice cream was stolen.
"don't come down early," you warned.
he sighed dramatically. "whatever."
you gave him one last amused smile before slipping out into the hallway. the door clicked shut. not even three seconds passed before his muffled voice came through the wood. "this is a really long five minutes."

SIX 𖦹 SEVEN - NO-BUNNY LIKE YOU ˚.⋆꒰১ ໒꒱⋆.˚ 𖦹 NEXT
you’re not sure when, or why, but whatever mild annoyance you once had whenever the girls brought up keonho had bloomed into something harder to describe. not the kind of fluttering that arose when you had to meet someone new for the first time, neither the intense thumping that led to song lyrics being dedicated or a future of picket white fences and domesticity being imagined. it finds itself tucked carefully in the middle, closer to that playground-ish feeling of daisy rings and sandcastle promises. it was silly. you weren’t even sure if he knew who you were, and weren’t exactly set on finding out. for now, it was just a harmless infatuation. something surface-level, and likely to pass over.
the walk to stage felt ten times longer after your indirect confession. it’s as if the universe wanted you to soak in the childish nature of it.
leeseo kept sneaking glances towards you. when your eyes seemed to catch on every odd glance, her eyebrows would do an obnoxiously high lift.
“if you keep doing that, your eyebrows are gonna stay stuck up there.”
“i can’t help it. my eyebrows are just very satisfied with the news we just learnt.”
you can only scoff in response.
from behind, you can hear the sounds of rei, wonyoung and liz giggling on end, the only break being an occasional hush when one of them raise an octave too high.
yujin and gaeul are fairly silent on the walk, but their faces reveal their thoughts are within the same range as the other girls. their faces both hold that unmistakable smile that screams ‘proud mother after learning about her daughter’s first crush.’
you can’t help but think they’re overreacting. i mean, it was nothing more than a crush, maybe even a little less than. you don’t even know what to call it.
challenge filmings were strangely the hardest part of promotion periods. having to converse with, teach choreo to and film a cover with someone who was, more often than not, a complete stranger. then came the uninvited analysis from netizens on whether or not your interaction showed “insane chemistry” or was just “awkward as hell.” you understood the marketing benefits behind it, but would genuinely do anything else.
the journey to cortis’ green room was exactly that, a journey. your brain filed through every possible way in which your interaction could go. will it be awkward? guaranteed. will you stutter? probably. will you see keonho? okay, that one wasn’t as relevant as the rest, but maybe. you’re grateful that rei chose to follow you to cortis’ green room, before heading to film her own. although she was strangely persistent on going, despite you initially being okay with going alone.
“i can feel your nerves from here, ynie.”
her voice draws you out of your internal panic.“hm? i’m just bad with meeting new people, that’s all.”
“oh i know. but i also know you’re a little anxious to see your bae up close.”
“he’s not my bae—“
“yet.”
“… and i doubt he’ll be there, it’s around lunch time.”
“but you wouldn’t mind if he was?”
“…”
“gotcha. we’re here, by the way. go knock.”
she nudges you towards the closed door.
you can hear the unmistakable sound of chaos seeping out from behind the door. it’s filled with weird bird screeches and boyish laughter.
you turn back around to rei.
“there’s no way i’m knocking. you do it.”
“you’re the one filming with seonghyeon, not me. just knock.”
before your fist could make contact with the door, someone on the other side pulled it open.
“oh, hi.”
ahn keonho.
“hi,” you managed to squeak out.
martin appeared behind him seconds after.
“yn, right? you’re here to film with seonghyeon?”
“yeah, martin? and yes, if you’re not busy right now.”
“it’s cool, we were just about to get lunch. he can join us after,” he offers, before turning back to call for seonghyeon.
out of the corner of your eye, you can see keonho shift his gaze back and forth between you and rei before he turns his body to look back into the room.
seonghyeon appears at the door not long after.
“hi, i’m seonghyeon. nice to meet you.”
“yn. i’m sorry for taking out of your lunch time. i promise it won’t take long.”
“nah, you’re all good. we can head out now.”
“yo hyeon, we’re heading to the cafeteria now. join us when you’re done.”
you turn to rei, giving her one last tight-lipped smile before turning to head to your filming spot with seonghyeon.

as soon as you walk into the acai shop, yujin gives you the dirtiest look you’ve ever seen him give you.
but you could care less.
there were severely, excessively larger fish to fry, and they were in the shape of none other than tomiyasa yu.
your admittedly (and irritatingly) fine, toxic situationship from the year prior.
“yn!”
you turn to see rei and of course, just as yujin had warned, yu standing next to her. he’s in a tee and shorts, sunglasses on top of his head, pushing his hair back.
“rei, hi! oh my god it’s been so long,”
she grins, giddy.
“hey,”
you shouldn’t acknowledge him.
you really really shouldn’t. but you do regardless, turning to him and giving the best smile you can.
“long time no see yu,”
“long time no see,” he says, a breathy laugh escaping his lips. and then? then he smiles, “how have you been?”
“good. just working,” you reply.
“always so busy,” he nods, “don’t wear yourself out,”
you and yujin share a look.
“thanks for looking out for me,” you say through grit teeth, “but i’ll be fine,”
“well if you say so,”
rei smiles happily.
you kick yujin before he can make any smug comments or faces, and with a fake smile he slides their order against the counter.
rei happily grabs the bag, telling you she’d visit more and that the two of you needed to hang out.
you would’ve listened more if not for yu staring at you.
rei leaves the shop first, and you watch as yu grabs napkins. he turns last second.
“hope we can catch up,”
then, the door chime twinkles as he opens the door and closes it.
as soon as the two leave, yujin bursts out.
“is your friend stupid?”
you sigh.
“we told her we ended on good terms to not make things awkward,”
yujin gives you a judgmental stare.
“stop it, i know okay!?”
he continues staring.
