I’ve been thinking of cross continuity shipping. And I just don’t think it works that well with Soundbee. Specifically bc I can’t see the Bumblebees falling for any Soundwave but their own. I can see Soundwave falling for other Bumblebees, but maybe that’s just bc I think Bumblebee is is the same in most continuities

Imagine if, during es when Soundwave if in stasis (or whatever it is) Bumblebee somehow ends up taking care of his cassettes. And he’s just being a good dad. Then Soundwave gets out and everything happens. But then he’s looking for his kids, and finds them with Bumblebee. Bumblebee who is treating them like his own children, acting as a parent. And Soundwave just immediately fell in love. His kids are being taken care of by a small yellow bot who is doing a wonderful job, and he’s just smitten. All thoughts of revenge are gone; his only goal now is to seduce Bumblebee

I so want ex-Decepticon Bumblebee. Like any type. Maybe he purposely kept it from his fellow Autobots because he didn’t think they’d accept him. Or maybe he didn’t try to hide but it just never came up. And it opens up so many opportunities for angst

Sometimes I want Soundbee to be more popular, because I’d get more content to consume. Other times I like it being a rairpair. It makes it feel special

Royalty AU where Soundwave is the heir to the Decepticon kingdom, and Megatron is the king. The king of the Autobots is Ultra Magnus, and he has 2 kids, Optimus and Sentinel. The Decepticons visit the Autobots because Soundwave needs a conjunx. After a while of getting to know both heirs to the Autobots he gets to choose. But instead of choosing either of them, he chooses the pretty golden bot, Bumblebee, who’s just a servant. Now he has a week to win Bumblebee over so they can get conjunxed.

Is it so much to ask for Soundwave to yearn to do whatever Bumblebee wants him to do? Like, pathetically so. I want Soundwave to be pathetic, specifically for Bumblebee. But also protective. Is that really so much to ask for?
