“Shit. I just assumed that it was common knowledge by now. He probably hasn’t said anything because he’s trying to pretend that he doesn’t care that this guy doesn’t want to date him”, Arden explained. “Perfect. Is tomorrow too soon for me to model for you?” she asked, wanting to make sure that she cleared her schedule to suit Emma.

“I won’t tell him you said anything. But please let me know if I need to sit him down and talk some sense into him.” She shrugged. “ Tomorrow works perfectly, I’ve got nothing going on. Not that I’m boring or anything it’s just um, I happen to be free tomorow.” She said blushing slightly.

Emery: Really? Because I can't remember the last time you were nice to me for an entire conversation

Emery: I love you too, Ems

Emery: easy with the cursing or I'm going to start a swear jar

Emma: I sprinkle niceness into each convo so you dont get too spoiled by it :P

Emma:

“Em can be a little absentminded sometimes. He’s also been a bit preoccupied lately… some guy has been fucking with his head”, Arden explained. “Oh. Well, thank you for the compliment. I’m sure your artistic ability will do me justice”, she said, a small and somewhat guarded smile teasing her lips. She definitely hadn’t been expecting such a nice compliment. “I’ll give you some insiders information… I’v very easily won over by gummy bears and vanilla coke. That’ll keep me onside for hours”.

“Wait really? He hasn’t told me anything about a guy.” She said raising an eyebrow. “Any time. I promise I’ll do my best,” She smiled back, brushing her hand through her hair. “Noted, I’ll make sure to have plenty of both on hand.”

“Thanks for being so understanding”, Arden said with a laugh. ‘Yeah, really. You’re Emery’s friend, which means that I’ll help you out when you need it”, she said simply. In her eyes, it really was that simple. “You don’t have to suck up to me by giving me compliments, I’ve already agreed to help” Arden pointed out, assuming that was Emma’s motivation for giving such a lovely compliment.

“I try” She chuckled. “I can’t believe Emery never introduced us.” She chuckled. She couldn't believe how nice the other seemed. “Oh no, I meant it.” Emma said deciding to double down. “Trust me, I won’t start sucking up until you’ve been sitting there for hours and I’m still drawing.”

Emery: You should be nicer to be

Emery: We both know that I'm one of your favourite people

Emery: you should show it more

Emma: I am soooo nice to you.

Emma: I guess your up ther on the list

Emery: I can! I sit still all the time.. like when I'm sitting exams

Emery: Alright, I get it, I was an idiot. I apologise for not introducing you sooner

Emery: Congratulations on making her laugh

Emery: Noted

Emma: *Eyeroll*

Emery: Hey! I can so sit still.

Emery: I didn't really envisage you guys hitting it off

Emery: Like I said, Arden has a lot of good qualities but her social skills aren't exactly at the top of the list

Emery: Bullshit

Emery: If I wasn't like 98% gay, I would find you totally bangable

Emery: That came out kinda weird but it was supposed to be a compliment

Emma: Sure

Emma: well you were so wrong

Emma: Hey I'm so funny I can make anyone laugh, even anti social people

Emery: I think you should be thankful that I didn't offer. It sounds like you got a much better offer

Emery: I don't know why you'd think that

Emery: I love Arden. She's one of my best friends and fuck, she's a pretty impressive person.

Emery: But so are you

Emma: True. Plus you wouldn't have stood still. I can never get you to stay still when I'm srawing you

Emma:Seriously how have you never introduced her to me before

Emery: I love you but I'm not going to lie to protect your feelings -- you have definitely been complaining

Emery: I doubt that

Emery: You tend to get lost in your work. You'll probably forget that you're attracted to her once you really get into the project

Emma: Well you could have always offered :P

Emery: Well I'm glad she didn't piss you off or offend you.

Emery: That's good right?

Emery: You've been complaining about not being able to find a model

Emma: It's very good.

Emma: I have not been complaining!

Emery: Arden?

Emery: Like my "sister" Arden?

Emery: Interesting.

Emery: I mean, yeah, she's gorgeous. Her lack of people skills just put some people off.

Emma: Thats the one

Emma: I honestly didn't notice. She seemed friendly enough to me

“I can’t make any promises but I’ll try my best”, Arden joked. “I’ll model for you”, she offered without thinking twice. Arden would do anything to help her friends and as Emma was a friend of Emery’s, that feeling extended to her as well. “I don’t know if I’ve got the right look for your project but the offer is there if you want to take it”.

“Well as long as you try your best thats all I can ask. “She chuckles. “Wait really? That would be awesome.” Emma beemed. “You’re the perfect look. I mean, just don’t be super offended if I can’t capture your beauty.” Blushing as she realized what she has said

“I wish I met more people who were willing to provide me with knives”, Arden teased. “It’s nice that you guys are so close. Are you working on any projects at the moment?” she asked curiously.

“Well as long as you dont frame me for murder we’ll be fine.” She joked. “Well I am working on some stuff for school. I have to do some portrait drawings but I havent gotten around to finding someone who’ll let me draw them yet.”

“I’ll only repeat the compliment if you buy me a coke”, he bargained. “Yeah, it’s not that bad. I definitely find it easier when I can talk through the scene rather than just trying to force words onto paper”.

“Meh, not worth it.” She said putting her phone back down with a small chuckle. “Exactly. I find it always makes the writing more natural.”
