reconnect. remember when you were little and you’d run around outside, sprinting through the trees pretending to be pocahontas? petting your kitten or puppy for hours. whispering to animals because they definitely knew what you were saying. walking through the woods looking for twigs to turn into magic wands. searching for mushrooms because you were sure you’d find fairies one of those times. humming sweet, simple tunes that were purely the songs of your heart. remember how grounding and refreshing it was, being so immersed in nature? the freedom we felt in that world was limitless. and that world still exists, but we’ve gotten lost in a new world. one far less mysterious. one that is completely intangible. one that often gives us anxiety rather than releases it. the world of social media. so… i invite you to reconnect. reconnect with nature. with ladybugs and butterflies and kittens and puppies and leaves and sticks and sand and sun. find your freedom again. simplicity is a gift, and you can have it when you choose to reconnect with nature and let your inner child play again. ☾♡ ★ https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo4TBGGhLOV/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=hsx73n4m973u
