The Recombobulation Area

I ordered these little cuties from StrawbearryMilk and I knew I would need to make them more little outfits because how could you not. Obviously the first on the to do list were THE JACKETS.

YOU - "Ma'am, do you know how me and my partner are known to our colleagues back at the station?" PLAISANCE - "No?" The storekeeper has crossed her arms. KIM KITSURAGI - The lieutenant looks at you, waiting to see where this is going. DRAMA - You've got this. Just go with it, this is *elegant*. YOU - "Crime bros." (Nod at Kim.) "We're called *crime bros*, my partner and I." PLAISANCE - "You're called... *what*?" She peers at you over her glasses. "What is this, a joke, mister policeman? Do you commit *crimes* together or what?" KIM KITSURAGI - He turns away, but not before you can see a small hint of a smile -- he's struggling to not crack up. RHETORIC - Technically, that's what Crime Bros would do, yes. Commit crimes. YOU - "No, not like this, we're called crime bros because we like to *solve* crimes... as brothers in arms!"

Made a little cover-style art for @davidfosterwallaceandgromit's au fic The Emergent Causeway. I was so enamored by the field autopsy scene I couldn't help myself. No one performs a sexier autopsy than HDB.

YOU - "Ma'am, I am a renowned private investigator, a paragon of law and a specialist in all things criminal." KIM KITSURAGI - The lieutenant shoots you a sideways glance. "And I am his private partner, John... Shao. Together we run the pre-eminent spousal surveillance firm in Revachol." YOU - "We are truly private in our partnership."

Picked up a book from ‘Crime, Romance, and Biographies of Famous People’ up in Martinaise. Thought nine reál  was a little expensive for a used book, but the owner wouldn’t budge on the price. Oh well, hope this one doesn’t fall apart like the last one!

George is probably my third favorite character in the game (and I haven't even completed the ultra-liberal quest yet!), so I had to draw him.
