HI HELLO im alive. and YES actually i do plan to sell them again! in fact, about half of the decks still available and just sitting in my room, i've just had to temporarily close my webshop for some personal reasons & can't sell anything without that fully operational. the plan is to open that up again most likely some time this autumn & sell the remainder then. sorry for the delay, but thanks for your interest!! <3

hi, okay, so, literally no one asked for this, but while I’m working on some actual art to post on here, I’m just gonna..... share this.... thing.

SO, a few months back, I got into a heated debate about who to cast as the one-and-only Lelouch in a live Code Geass adaptation & my fixation on this question got... a bit out of hand. the culmination of this was me spending hours trying to cast just nearly everyone for the entire series during a weeb manic fugue state.

now, you may be saying - emily, you’ve got some big budget actors here in pretty secondary roles! what are you thinking?? BUT this is all imagining that I personally were the showrunner & the casting director & that this was a world where budget was apparently no issue because I’d geass’d the donors into sharing their full life’s earnings, and, on top of all this, yes, we could in fact also afford to render all the mechs! don’t ask questions. It’s My Fancast & I Can Run the Studio Into Unsalvageable Debt If I Want To!

....&anyway, thought I’d share this for anyone who cares or had their own fan-castings in mind, or else just wanted to bear witness my madness.

Alright, so, here’s an animatic I made through SVA’s Continuing Ed course on Storyboarding. Been meaning to learn the principles & software of boarding for a while now, to see if it might be a worthwhile avenue to pursue, &to assess if I could actually shift art-making into my full-time job--?! &Thus, this is my first foray into that terrain. Thanks to my sister & her husband for voicing & for lending me the inspo of their ridiculous D&D misadventures!!

if you’ve been waiting on these or know somebody who has, check out the site above. there will be a total of 30 decks available, so be sure to get your order in if you’re determined to get a set. there may be reprints down the line, but not sure when, &ultimately it depends on a variety of factors (the amount of buyer interest made apparent to me, my own available time & resources, etc.). additionally, please read the section of my site labelled “important” for a basic rundown of shop policies (most of which boil down to “im not Mr.Walmart im just one little guy here so go easy on me alright.”) 

the designs have been updated slightly since my original posts - not the central artwork, just the surrounding typography in terms of color & alignment, &in some cases sizing. each deck consists only of the major arcana, making up 22 cards total, the art of which can be viewed here.:

there will also be slight variances to the deck envelopes as the stamps are each individually hand-printed using my carving shown among the images above.

thank you so much!! definitely planning to post more in general to the inprnt, though my main focus has been on adding new pieces as i make them. (atm have just been busy on portfolio things. trying to get a whole new career lol.) there are a couple of those older asoiaf works i intend to revise & post there - that one in particular, as well as the stark family before-and-after piece, & probably the fight with brandon too. my initial intention was to do so once the next book came out, so as to inform a new perspective on the revision.... BUT, as we're all well aware, at the rate things are going with grrm’s writing pace, it might...... be a while. so I have been debating just revising them now lmao. (those guys been on my mind recently anyway.)

--that said, would you be less interested if the art were to change somewhat? ideally it would be for the better, though these things are subjective of course. i could always do the revision, and if there's a preference for the original, i could simply post that to the shop as well. (honestly just think i can do better by it now. i've learned a lot since then! but the overall composition of it would remain the same.)
