What do you think is the worst he’s done/said in an interview?

I think Icey could get pretty shady when irritated, and not really caring what he's saying because he doesn't expect people outside of Iceland to pay attention to his comments. Since Iceland is such a small country and politics there are relatively informal, there have been some "oopsie" moments where politicians have underestimated how quickly their remarks can spread internationally...

Iceland:  I plan to spend a little time with everyone, provided they’re interested.  But I have nothing special planned, e-except for maybe one thing.

ICEY, YOU CAN'T SAY THAT ON NATIONAL TELEVISION-

I mean, just look at him and Romano.

Iceland is super polite and well-mannered in general. It's hard to dislike him because Iceland is just such a pleasant, kind person. Norway really did a great job raising this kid. Iceland is so elegant and galante for a teenager. He's also super well adjusted (those who can't, teach. eh, Norway?)

Yeah, sometimes he can be an edgy teen, but Iceland is actually such a likable kid. He's also very relatable and humble.

Humble is a nice way of putting it, self-loathing is more like it. Regardless, it makes people like him a lot. Part of it is that he's incredibly guilt-trippable and physically can't put himself first.

Especially nations like Prussia, Romano and America.

Prussia has a massive ego, and he genuinely believes he is the coolest person to ever walk the earth. He likes talking about himself most, but who'd bother listening to him and his exaggerated stories? Iceland, who 1) would never interrupt someone older than him. 2) learned that faking interest is better than dealing with Prussia's disappointment if he finds out he actually doesn't care and 3) is willing to spare about 4-5 business days of his life to make Prussia happy. In return, Prussia gives Iceland actually helpful advice and helps him with literally anything he needs.

Romano's reason for liking Iceland is very different. He relates to Iceland a lot. Also, Iceland gives off sad hamster vibes. You know the one. Romano also struggles with feeling inferior, but he doesn't really experience that around Iceland (or most children) also, let's be real, these two probably bond over judging people. Romano will defend Iceland to the ends of the earth.

America is a whole different case. Iceland definitely liked him a lot more as a naive kid who bought into the whole hero thing. Iceland now finds America incredibly childish and demanding. He even told Finland to ignore America if his expectations became too hard to fulfil. It's because he knows first hand how difficult it is to deal with America. He's a lovely person and everything, but he's just... So much. Iceland would really benefit from practicing what he preaches because every time America wants to hang out with him, Iceland physically can't say no. He just sits there listening to him rambling. America does not care about social cues. Especially Iceland's social cues. This kid is on his twenty fifth 'damn... That's crazy' and America is not getting the hint. Still, Iceland won't interrupt because Norway just HAD to raise him to be polite.

There are a ton of other people that like Iceland.

Iceland is pretty damn neutral when it comes to a lot of things. In the sense that he doesn't have a ton of biases. A bitchass is a bitchass no matter what nation they are.

People like him for that.

There are other people who like Iceland. Germany thinks he's polite and hardworking. Sure, he causes chaos during world meetings, but that's because he's a kid. Kids get bored. They don't wanna listen to lectures. Iceland is actually really helpful otherwise. If Germany is carrying something, Iceland will almost always bolt to take it.

France finds him very interesting and likes his aesthetic. He thinks it's bold and unique. In reality, Iceland is just weird, but France thinks there's some deeper meaning to his weirdness. Iceland dresses and talks weird, but he's out of touch, so it makes sense.

China is like five seconds away from kidnapping him.

He'd probably get along with Canada. They both have a pretty damn weak presence.

Hungary thinks he's a sweet kid.

Poland loves that he's really nice and everything, but holy shit, he would just love to burn this kid's wardrobe because what is that tragic excuse of an outfit. He also thinks he needs to stop being a pushover.

Belar/us is just chill with him. She doesn't know him enough to dislike him, and he's nice whenever they interact, so she doesn't mind him.

Russia wants to be friends with him as he does with most people. Iceland takes bribes. He doesn't dislike Russian, he just dislikes people in general.

Basically, there are three types of people

1) people who think Iceland is cool

2) people who think Iceland is adorable

Iceland: idk... that's a pretty big step
