“You’re welcome, Jordan.” Kyle’s responding smile was easy and slow; he was genuinely prepared to help his friend in her venture. “Alright. Do you want to split the addresses in half and separate, or do you want to go together?”

Aimee knew she could do it on her own but she liked having the company and alright, the extra help. It made it a lot easier and Aimee was all for working smarter and not harder. “Let’s go together. I do have a lot of food to take and I need to talk to most of them anyway, it’ll just be easier that way and besides, I think we could both use the company.”

“What if you need it later on? I can’t just take it for keeps.” This argument is going to devolve quickly, Donna can tell. It won’t stop her form trying, though.

“Donna, I can always get or find a new one. You can take it for keeps because I said you could.” Aimee waved her off, knowing they’d bicker about it all day if one of them didn’t give in. “Don’t worry about it, seriously, it’s your’s now.”

“What else are friends for, right?” He asks, ripping open a pack of antiseptic wipes to begin the task of cleaning Aimee up from the battle she’d gotten herself into. 

“Making friends food, letting them crash on the couch even when they’re mean to you?” Aimee listed off as he started to clean her up. It was easier on her if she simply talked while he did it. “Aside from taking care of me, how was your day?”

“Oh, I’m not,” Thad smirks, “But that doesn’t mean I won’t help out the heroes I actually like.“ There were few enough of those already.

“Seriously?“ He asks with an amused  smile on his face, bu still Thad pulls out chocolate kiss and hands it to Aimee, “You know you’re like one of Pavlov’s dogs at this point, right?“

Aimee grinned at him as she nodded. “So that means I’m someone you like? Well, don’t I feel special?” She teased before her eyes lit up.

“Let’s just say it’s my job not to be afraid.” The Green Lantern said, floating off the ground just a couple of inches, raising a brow with her arms folded over her chest. “And I’m here to help so..” 

“Aren’t you supposed to not be on our side?” She asked, even though she was the one who had just gotten saved. Next time, she’d make sure to charge her ring. “But thanks, you got any chocolate kisses on you?”
