JANUARY 2018 GLOSSYBOX!

This months Glossybox was different, and I LOVED IT! The focus this month was on skin care which is something I’ve tried over the past year to really get on top of. I never thought of taking supplements to help my skin but hey, here we are, when you’re sent a months worth which would cost £39.99 to buy you can’t not! I must say after 5 or so days of taking them I am already noticing a difference, my skin is a lot smoother and my complexion seems more even. I’m happy! I haven’t been able to try the cream blush from from Apicia just yet but I had a little swatch and the colour was stunning, nothing too dramatic, a nice subtle muted pink. I’ve been using the Dr. Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil daily, at first I was cautious because I have oily skin but I was wrong - it somehow adds hydration to my face without making it remotely oily. If anything I’d say it’s helped the oil situation, plus the scent is BEAUTIFUL! I haven’t yet given the nail treatment (top left) and primer (bottom right) a fair trial, I’ve been using them of course but they haven’t had the test of time just yet which they need! I’ll get back to you! 

MARC JACOBS MATTE GEL HIGHLINER REVIEW - I LOVE THESE

It is an absolute PAIN having tiny eyes but when you manage to find the perfectly coloured and pigmented eyeliner it is a treat. The Marc Jacobs Highliner in the colour ‘pink of me’ is perfect to open up the eye by being placed in the waterline, the pigment is intense and the longevity is pretty insane too (I wore this all day yesterday and it didn’t budge). I have annoyingly watery eyes and they often get irritated so for this to sit in my waterline all day and to not budge was quite the achievement. I wore ‘earthquake’ (brown) the night before again in my waterline and boy oh boy was it intense, again the pigment was strong and it stayed there all night - added a lot of intensity to my eyes. I can’t wait to purchase more!
