🌱Canto Kiani:

Seeker of the Sun #wol Canto #Fic: Songs of Canto Nameday: 5th Sun of Second Umbral Moon (April 5) Description/background: blond hair (nearly vanilla white) with red tips, bright green eyes. He has a prominent scar over his right eye from Carteneau which he fought in as a Flame soldier. There, his older brother saved his life and lost his own. He was originally V'canto Tia, but he shed his V after the Calamity and took his brother's name for his last name to keep his memory alive. Canto struggles with recognizing his own merit as the WOL, as he thinks it should have been V'kiani's destiny, not his own. So he tends to experience a powerful combo of survivor's guilt and imposter syndrome. His relationship with food can also be a little difficult, as he remembers what it's like to starve, a memory from his childhood with the V tribe.

His echo gives him headaches. Age: 21 // 25 Orientation: gay Partner: G'raha Tia - however, he doesn't know yet that they will have a future. Fun facts: Canto hums made up melodies all the time. He's a creative individual, and it was like a new chapter opening when he discovered he could use those skills as a bard, expanding on his archery skills he'd known all his life. Unfortunately, he fully did an about face into ninja knives after G'raha sealed himself in the CT, as it reminded him too much of training in archery together. The humming also stops after G'raha. He also has a niece and a nephew that he loves with his whole heart, keeping them fairly secret from the world to keep them safe. They are twins of mixed heritage - his late brother's children and they live with their mother and her second husband in the South Shroud near Issom-Har/Buscarron's.

❤️Killian:

Seeker of the Sun #wol Killian Nameday: 32nd Sun of 4th Astral Moon (7/31), given to him by Thancred when he learned Killian had never celebrated. Description/background: red hair, silver eye on the right (the mark of his blessing of light), emerald green on the left. He has a scar in the shape of an "X" on his left cheek that he doesn't like to talk about. He lets people think it's from battle. However, it's really from a bar brawl. When he was young, Killian was picked up by slavers whose scheme was eventually uncovered by the Flames. He became a refugee in Ul'dah around the age of 15, and took to entertainment - mostly music and the darker parts of society. He learns how to play the fiddle by ear, and eventually with the support of a female patron in the upper echelon of Ul'dah, the piano as well. Killian is a name he chose for himself. He does not remember his miqo'te clan. He is rarely seen without the black glove he wears on his right hand, as it covers a tattoo of the number he was known by for so long (112), and some scarring from when he tried to get rid of it. Age: 25 // 29 Orientation: bisexual Partner: Thancred. But it took awhile for them to get there. Killian recognizes who Thancred is at the start of ARR. When he was 22 (and T=28), Thancred had taken a mark out on a date to the bar where Killian and some other players were performing. Thancred's date happened to be one of the slavers who recognized Killian immediately and Thancred recognized him also as an escort he'd seen around. A confrontation happened during a set break in the alley outside the tavern, where Thancred saved his life and witnessed Killian have what he thought was a vision from the Echo. In thanks, Killian tries to proposition Thancred as payment, but the rogue kindly refused and offered instead that if he wanted to take up adventuring, the archer's guild in Gridania and the rogue's guild in Limsa might be a beneficial place to start for someone who was good with their hands. It's the advice Killian needed to get out of the life he felt stuck in. The fact that they have this history is embarrassing especially to Killian, but eventually their actual interest in each other starts with one starlit night after the events in Praetorium. It takes a long time for them to come to terms with feelings that come with it, not until Shadowbringers did they acknowledge it. After the events of Endwalker and once Killian has healed from his wounds, his hair has grown out long, and Thancred gifts him the hair pieces he once used to keep his hair tied back prior to the events of the First. It's every bit the promise it seems, an acknowledgement that they'll keep each other close. Fun facts: Killian's favorite food is ramen! His favorite time of day is sunset, and he loves the combination of yellows, oranges and purples that come from the dusk. His favorite flowers are sunflowers. Game Progression - current

💙Killick:

Keeper of the Moon #wol Killick Description/Background: silver-blue hair (it was dark blue but changed from the influx of Light of the First), seafoam green eyes. Zenos' blade cut across his face during the events of Endwalker, so he's got a scar diagonally between his eyes and on his nose, and he's also most likely to wear glasses. He only has half his hearing out of his right ear due to frequent ear infections he doesn't remember having as a child. Killick was abandoned in Limsa Lominsa and taken in by what would eventually become the rogues guild. Once we was old enough, he joined a merchant vessel as a deckhand and worked himself up to a boatswain by the time of the Calamity. The ship was wrecked in the tumultuous seas, and Killick was among the survivors. He takes up adventuring to support himself and because of his continuing wanderlust. He has family still alive that have started to figure out that the lost son of their clan is the WOL. One of them is a twin sister. More on Killick's family here. His Keeper name is Zari'to. Nameday: 11th Sun of 5th Umbral Moon (10/11) Orientation: Ace Age: 26 // 30 Fun facts: Killick knits, a skill he learned during down time as a sailor. He's still close to Count Edmont after all this time and will return to Ishgard as often as he can to visit Fortemps Manor and Lord Aymeric.
