Mind Dregs

we run away to see the day

only then can we may

we pray but still we will

be more chill only

since the diners fill

with people screaming

building dreaming fly away or

pay the debt

and still we bet

that at the end of the day humans will say

Here I be til I see

the god in sky

or devil in hell

but neither is true

and the all are blue

for life means nothing

and we all are screwed

still we persist

until we get pissed

then we run right into the sun

melt it off til were all engulfed

will we talk and walk

or scream teem with anger oozing emotion til

were extinguished

with a flourish and

by and die all said all done

none of us ever won

still we march
