As an audience member with our seats under wooden canopies, laid out surrounding the bare stage, it’s as if I was part of the community of Cupang rather than a spectator of it. The show was fully immersive especially during numerous crowd scenes, it was somewhat in-your-face assault to the senses that can be overwhelming and uncomfortable at times but gave a stronger punch to the emotions already inherent in the material.
