From Another World // elvxnkingthranduil
It rumoured already days ago that Asgard would expect a new visiter and guest that came from a magicial part in the neighbour realm Midgard. It indeed has been a unawares surprise to expect any kind of magical being in the actual world of the mortals since the humans are more a species known to forget about the myths and true gods and so every mystical creature turned to a form of a fairy tale the mankind would speak about. A fairy tale of creatures that existed thousands of years ago and more and more rot and fade away.
The rumours had been trapped behind the golden gates of the kingly palace, as if Odin would spare it from every living being around except for his warriors and family..well, with one exception. The black sheep of this godly family Loki would keep himself isolated from the whispering talks of the many tongues Of the employees , more keeping himself away from Odin and the warriors, drowning himself in old literature of books and scrolls. It was his mother, Frigga, who informed his son about the new upcoming guest but it let the Aesir cold at first. It had been the pleading words of the queen that changed Lokiâs mind to ignore the welcoming ceremony, at least he doesnât desire to dissapoint the only person he truly loves in his personal jail the trickster agreed more half-heartily and promised to dress at least in a more elegant attire. But what really caught his interest were the following words of Frigga. âWe will await a king, an elven King. And I know that you admire these people, my son. â before she left the Princeâs chamber with her usual soft smile.
An elf king of Midgard⊠here in Asgard? Why just one? Loki remembers that elf folks normally live at least in small groups and are bonded to each other? Why just one, and why a king?
Thousands of thousands questions ran through the sharp mind of the sorcerer, immediately hurrying over to his bookshelf and re-read the old stories of the earthly elf folk. A true rarity.
And so the days quickly pass, a bright golden beam in the late evening sky of the God realm promised that the Bifrost had been in use and transported a new visiter. Everyone awaited the elf king everyone whispered about, also the young Black haired God who awaits the elf in the Throne room, together with Odin and Frigga and of course the guards and warriors around them. Loki nearly couldnât focus to the current situation since his heartbeat deafens his ability to hear since it throbs hardly and could be felt in every cold vein under his skin. Was he nervous or simply excited to meet someone of his favourite species? So it was until the broad golden gates would open and silent steps would enter the halls. It was this slim , slender male, golden long straight hair that fell from his shoulder blades and shoulder while bright bluish eyes pierce through the palish peachy features, long steps pacing along the golden floor ⊠and Loki suddenly felt like a child again. Verdant hues widen in marvel and a tad out of disbelief what he just sees. This perhaps is a new definition of beauty.. The young God never imaged to see an elf in his young years of living and even his jaw dropped a little bit before Odin would welcome the guest in deepest respect , the people the elf king had crossed took a deep bow to show their awe.
But this event now already reached the first week ⊠a week that could have been called the perfect hell for the Aesir. He never dared to talk to the blonde man even during the ceremonyâŠwhat was his name? King Thranduil? Loki havenât captured himself in his chambers the last days since his curiosity would yearn him outside in the gardens or backyards, where the king would take his walk. Like an incredibly shy child the trickster would hide himself behind corners or thanks to a spell for camouflage green eyes would take in the long frame of the new guest as if Loki tries to remember every detail on this man. His beauty, his whole appearance and language his body speaks⊠it all seemed to outwordly, a dream. Loki couldnât take it in. He doesnât want to appear like a stalker, but sadly the God havenât found his courage to change a word with this Thranduil, at least to welcome him. A situation where Loki could slap himself for this cowardly move.
When it happened as always that the elf would leave the gardens to return to entrance doors for entering the inside of the palace again, the God of curse didnât hesitate to follow him back to thisâŠbut this time it was differently. It was hard enough keeping up the pace with the other male since his footsteps were nearly noiselessly like a car, but this time he was quicker than usual until he disappeared behind a near corner.
Loki tried to ran after him without making much obvious noises of running but.. the elf was gone. âWhere did he go..?â The royal murmured to himself in confusion since it would be impossible to leave this part of the floor so quickly, taking now more timid steps as green eyes stare along the empty floor, no noises rang around, no footsteps.
