Always Room at the Table

Which is super annoying when I just want to remake my blog as a sideblog on a different email. But you know I could live with that. 24 hours isn't too bad.

I think I'm gonna remake my blog so I have a hub and then my characters will be on side blogs. Not really gonna help in the long run, but sometimes a fresh start helps. Might also become highly selective instead of mutuals only.

Elvira had been working on cleaning the house when she felt the tiny arms clinging onto her out of nowhere. Maybe if she had less practice with surprise hugs from ducklings she would have stumbled, but as it were she let out a soft laugh and petted Dugan’s head. “Hello to you too, Darling.”

On a whim she leans down and lifts Dugan up, resting him on her hip so she can hug him properly. “And how are you doing today?”

12. what are your muse’s feelings towards stereotypes relating to their identity? do they affect their self-image, or how they perceive others?

Elvira rolls her eyes at most stereotypes. Depending on which ones you’re spouting she can see you anywhere from uninformed to just plain awful.

Elvira doesn’t normally participate, the whole affair is a bit too load and boisterous for her tastes. But she’s glad they exist. She tends to get this warm feeling in her chest thinking about how open people get to be about their love now.

20. what are your muse’s feelings towards the culture of romance and sexuality as it pertains to their identity?

Elvira knows nothing about that culture as it is today. And when she was dating the culture of the theater had more influence on who/how she was dating.

And while the mainstream at the time insisted on woman getting married, not everyone did. There was a decent percentage of spinsters who were in relationships with other woman.
