Why I love Koro Sensei as a character.
I get he's a threat to humanity and wants the earth to go boom boom, HOWEVER the way he never gives up on a student in the show and actively pushes his students to be the best versions of themselves makes me so emotional for some reason.
I think it's mostly coming from a place of relating to the kids in the show as someone who was put into extra help classes growing up, but Koro Sensei is a perfect example of a role we need people with kids or work with kids to take on.
I think it's just coming from my bias of him but this man is basically a father figure to his kids and no one can convince me otherwise.
Would it be cool if he weren't trying to destroy planet earth? Duh, but while his threat remains he actively splits himself into MULTIPLE versions of himself one episode in order to teach these kids the topics they each individually struggle with.
He puts himself into (not so dangerous to him) harms way in order to save two of his female students from kidnappers.
THIS OCTO IS THE GOD DAMN BARE MINIMUM I REST MY FUCKING CASE.
I just wanted to yap.
