Story 3: The Capture of Sophie Jones / Secrets of Elvendale
The webisode art style drastically changes to closer resemble the mini-doll style. While the previous seasons had the main story as a mini-movie and the fun misadventures as webisodes, the third season blends the misadventures in with the story. For this reason the webisodes have questionable continuity, often backtracking to earlier points in the story or contradicting other webisodes.
This season has an activity book and two foilpack magazines.

Secrets of Elvendale, animated by Studio MIR, tells the same story as the webisodes but better in a more detailed and linear fashion over eight 22-minute episodes. It is currently available on Netflix.
Story 4: Into The Shadows
This season is the sparsest, running 46 minutes across 15 webisodes. No companion media was produced for this season aside from the LEGO sets.

A little something different this week, I've finally gotten to the stud.io portion of the fan season! Sadly, stud.io doesn't have very many elves pieces, so I'll have to find a way around that...
These models are subject to change as I get better with the program!
(this section is information about this Alternate Universe, because a lot of stuff isn't canon. This AU isn't fully fleshed out yet. Also of course beware of spoilers below)
In this universe, there are four elemental-flora (one for each, essentially) planted in random areas in Elvendale. They're shaped vaguely like trees, with roots even growing inside the land, but consist of raw elemental magic. Basically, if the elemental jewels (guarded by the elemental guardians) are the source of all magic in Elvendale, I imagine these trees are somewhat like what allows that magic to evolve (like the fact elves aren't born capable of fully controlling their element, they have to learn to do that). After the canon events of season 4 (where the jewels were stolen and Elvendale lost its magic), the main squad elves go check up on these trees to ensure they have regained their magic well (sort of like watering a dry plant).
These elemental-flora (might rework the name) nearly entirely consist of their respective element, but also have a small amount of either light magic or dark magic in them. They each have a guardian (typically elves) tasked to care for and protect them, and one of their duties is ensuring dark magic never taints these plants. It is for this reason that these protectors must all know at least one instance of light magic within their respective elemental training regardless of the fact they are not light elves themselves (I imagine this power was somehow given by the guardian of light).
The role of guardian and caretaker of the elemental-flora isn't meant to be a permanent role, in fact it's encouraged otherwise, so no current guardian was the first. When someone becomes a guardian, they gain a new last name (Ignislumen, Ventuslumen, Arborlumen, Aqualumen).
Other non-canon stuff i'm adding
The tree in the human world can be any tree. In canon, it's specifically the oak tree in Emily's grandma's house's backyard, but I feel like that's not very practical, so in this AU, she can go to Elvendale from any tree. Or maybe specifically oak trees?
Lumia somehow stays as the guardian of light or someone else takes the mantle because I don't think someone permanently living in another world should become the guardian of light lol, I'll work on figuring that out
After the end of the canon final season, Azari and Emily (and Vespe) get or make a little house for the both of them (referring to Azari's comment that Emily should live with her before remembering she doesn't have a home in "Relight my Fire") close to the portal where Emily comes from (and close to Farran's house) that has like two bedrooms, a bathroom and maybe one small table, that way they have the basics but it's small enough that Azari has an excuse to keep hanging out at her friends' homes. Emily also gets to live somewhere when she's in Elvendale!
Sort of like humans, elves (and other lifeforms in Elvendale) typically take only one last name, but sometimes parents choose to give their children two last names (aka both of theirs).
No living creature in Elvendale is eternal, however elves can live for many millenia on an average lifespan (sort of how humans can live to 90+ years). If they move to the human world/Earth, they switch to a human appearance and get a human lifespan.
Harlow Nutkeeper is an earth and healer elf who resides in Elvendale. She made the first, and still only, sanctuary/zoo reserved specifically for squirrels in Elvendale. She also makes a living selling art pieces and sanctuary merch.

Background Story
Harlow Nutkeeper was born in Arthuria, a town at the bottom of Venti High Hills. Her parents, Hazel Blossomdough and Apicius Nutkeeper, are pizzaiolos/cooks/pizza makers. They own their own restaurant, called Thermopolium, renowned across Elvendale for one of the best spots to get pizza at and is a large touristic business. Her parents had three children aside from Harlow, all of whom are older than her.
Three of her father's friends also had children, Awel, Flaka and Muriel, whom Harlow has been friends with since early childhood. She went to regular mixed-element schools alongside said friends, where they all met and befriended Farran Leafshade, Azari Firedancer, Aira Windwhistler and Naida Riverheart, among others. Harlow therefore knew Ragana before her turn to evil, but the two were never close.
Harlow had her friends, but never cared much to befriend others outside of that. In her alone time, she befriended squirrels, who quickly became the number one animals in her young mind. Being an earth elf, Harlow can understand creatures related to the aforementioned element, and squirrels can communicate with any earth elf even if they are associated with another element.
Her parents brought Harlow and her siblings on quite a few vacations growing up. One of those leads them to the Shimmering Woods area, where Harlow and her siblings got lost exploring. They eventually ended up on the outskirts of Quartzine's fortress, the earth sister from the legend of the five sisters. The elf was already trying to use dark magic, but she had an accident with her amulet, and, as to protect herself, she turned her amulet to the right to avoid a beam of dark magic coming from it. Unaware of the visitors she suddenly had, the beam hit Harlow. Somehow, however, her injuries appeared fairly minor. She recovered fully a week later, and appeared to have gained near-immunity to dark magic. The reasons why are still unknown.
One day, Harlow was led by two of her animal friends to their injured baby. Harlow went to see a veterinarian, and she helped the baby on its healing journey post-surgery. She then went to fight the child that had injured the squirrel, and vowed to protect all squirrels in Elvendale.
As an adult, she established a sanctuary at the outskirts of Shimmering Woods, where she had gone as a child. However, the Goblin King eventually corrupted the forest. Meeting Rosalyn Nightshade, the two teamed up somewhat to fight any evils roaming in the forest. Rosalyn taught Harlow healing magic, which Harlow uses for any injured squirrels.
Harlow eventually needed money to run costs and expansions of her sanctuary. She decided to turn it into a small zoo of sorts, as well as selling merchandise related to the place. She also sells various art items, and has donations to run the sanctuary costs.
Harlow has been in contact with her friends and family around Elvendale, but she has not seen most of them, other than Flaka, in a long time.
Harlow officially meets Emily Jones only during the third storyline involving the Goblin King Cronan, whom she helps defeat.Β
During the following storyline, she temporarily loses her earth magic while Liska, the earth element jewel guardian, is captured. When Elvendale is forced into darkness because of the missing jewels and Noctura, Harlow seems to be in pain, making some healing potions to feel better. After the events of the storyline, she appears healed. She returns to running the Sanctuary/Zoo full time.
Harlow still lives on the outskirts of the Shimmering Woods, running her sanctuary. She often returns to her parents' home, where she is sure to help them out at Thermopolium, but they come to see her more. She also sees her friends Muriel and Awel more often with Flaka, and meets up with the series' main cast as well.

Etymology
- Harlow comes fromΒ Old English hΓ¦r (βrockβ) or here (βarmyβ) + hlΓ¦w (βhillβ) (source: behindthename - wikipedia)
- Nutkeeper I took from the words nut (like what squirrels eat) and keeper is a reference to a keeper/guardian/caretaker (of the squirrels)
- Apicius is a roman cooking recipes book written in the fifth century AD or earlier (wikipedia page)
- Hazel is a type of wood.
- A thermopolium was a small building (typically only an oven in the open from what I can see) where people could buy already made, ready to eat food, in ancient roman societies. (wikipedia page)
Creator's Note
Harlow is silly to me, because originally she was supposed to always catch Cronan off guard with random pranks. However, i'm not sure if a regular earth elf could fight against an earth-dark element goblin-army having king. I guess she'd be immune to most of his dark attacks though? So, I switched her character a little. She has thrown a rock at him at least once for sure even in my new canon though.
Below are some links so that, if you're interested, you can go look at LEGO Elves for yourself, as well as Harlow's name's etymology and that of her parents.
