“I am certain they would find somebody else to bother with their problems. I doubt they’re as problematic as yours right now,” Jaime spoke, giving Elsa a kind smile. “To think I hadn’t pegged you as the funny type. You surprise me…” he then continued, with a widening smile. “Maybe I think you deserve trouble. In fact….if you’re up for it and I know this is a stupid, long-shot but we could make it a date?” JHis eyes reached the ground, worried by what her reaction would be. “It’s rare I meet somebody who… gets it. So I never get the chance to spoil anybody. You don’t have to do anything the whole evening. And definitely nothing you don’t want to do. Just let me reassure you that not all people- particularly men- are idiots.”
Elsa nodded slowly, thinking about it. Obviously, friendship was a two-way street but she just wasn't used to sharing her problems. When she spoke about her past to Finn and Paige, it didn't feel as hard because it had all happened years ago and she was in a better place now. "Maybe, bu' I'm the best listener. Fact," she joked, trying to lighten things up. "Really? Wha' did ya peg me as, then?" Elsa replied with a smile. When Jaime suggested a date, her eyes widened in surprise but the smile remained on her face. She already considered herself lucky that she'd been found by someone so caring and understanding, someone she felt she could trust straightaway, so maybe having something happy to focus on was exactly what she needed. "Yes, please," Elsa confirmed, looking up at Jaime. "Tha'd be really nice. It's been a long time since anyone spoilt me, so... If I burst into tears, don't take it as a bad thing."
